This is really good at patching up a lot of weaknesses on your team. It's a status absorber, tspikes absorber, beats bulky waters, and can spread status.

Why is this used at all lol? It can't beat any ghost to spin and is a slow stealth rocker. The only thing it has going for it is its defense and lava plume which is somewhat redundant. Everytime I play against it, I feel like I'm up 6-5. The only
thing that I worry about is the plume burn.

This thing is surprisingly low. I understand Scolipede can perform a similar role, but not being stealth rock weak or vulnerable to fire/flying/rock and overall more bulky gives it a niche over scolipede. Its movepool is garbage but its bulk isnt.
