I love choice band Metagross because Meteor Mash hurts like a bitch lol. He also kills off Starmies and Gengars if they run. I think Metagross
better at pursuing than Tyranitar even tho he doesnt get a stab but he is alot more sturdier then T-tar IMO. Explosion is for things that try to attempt to set up on me.

This is a good team, based on the fact I recently faced it.

Restalking Heatran is surprising, but I don't think it's as effective as other restalkers, or as powerful as Scarf or Specs Heatran. I might put Restalkin Swampert:

Overall, I think it's a pretty good team. One thing I noticed is you have 2 Electric weaks, no resists. Metagross and Bronzong can be worn down by things like Life Orb Porygon-Z, and so can Heatran. I would add Swampert, as he gives you a good immunity.

This team does look very hard to take down. Your team has a great natural defense against entry hazards, having 3 pokemon immune to spikes and 5 pokemon immune to toxic spikes. Stealth Rock only really hurts Gyarados and to an extent, Zapdos.

I like the rest-talk Heatran because Heatran rarely uses anything beyond it's fire move anyways.

I would suggest a change in EVs though for Bronzong. I'm going to leave that Atk EVs alone, but I would switch the HP and Def EVs. When it comes to defense, you raise the lowest stat between HP and Def/SDef first to minimize damage taken, and as a bonus, you get more HP for Special attacks.

Barack used Selfdestruct!
It doesn't affect McCain.

(It's going to happen...)

Anyways, you auto-fail for titling your RMT that and not having Abomasnow on your team.

But on a serious note, resttalking Heatran is probably not the best idea. It's limited to two attacks, one of which has only 8PP, the other is unSTABed at 90 base power. Bulky waters will wall the thing to hell, Swampert can wall AND OHKO it, and it can't do much to Salamence or Gyarados. MixMence could give your team a lot of trouble, as Quake, Fire Blast, and Draco Meteor will all hurt, and while gyara and Starm can somewhat work as counters, bringing either in on a Draco Meteor is suicide. Zappy can work better, but it's not going to like a DM to the face, and there's not much it can do to Swampert. In fact, with no grass attacks on the team, Swampert will probably be a huge thorn in your side.

Well, that's my two cents. I have one thing left to say...

alot more sturdier then

*facepalm*

A little nitpick at your starmie, it can only counter gyra if it doesnt carry lifeorb, so many times i havent gotten a DD off only to see a starmie come in and die from life orb EQ

He's quite right.
Cursepert can set up on you and ko with EQ or Waterfall.

@ bronzong seems fine but you should consider running sassy over relaxed as you can draw flamethrowers for heatran.

@ Metagross i would go with thunderpunch over pursuit as it hits bulky waters and skarmory super effectively and also destroys gyra.

@ Zapdos switch it for celebi. Because celetran combo works so well at blocking each others weakness. i would recomend:

Bold @ Leftovers.
Recover
Leech seed
Thunder Wave
Psychic-grass knot
to further the stalling and pissing people of with thunder wave. and blocking weaknesses.

@ Gyrados seems fine just earthquake might be an option over stone edge.

@ heatran continue to use it for real. the set isn't bad it just needs celebi's support and please youse lava plume > Fire blast and hidden power grass over earth power as fire grass combo is onlly walled by salamence dragonite and other heatran.

@ Starmie seems ok might want to try rapid spin for support

He's quite right.

Curse-pert isn't all that common and like i suggested celebi just owns it with grass knot so please use celebi

I would suggest giving Metagross 128 Speed EV's, for a total of 208 Speed. This will allow you to outspeed Suicune and Milotic, which can both be a huge pain for Gyarados. You will also outrun the common Magnezone, to at least make it a pain to trap you.

I don't think you really need Ice Fang on Gyarados. Even if it did handle Celebi properly, you have a variety of pokemon which are already more than capable of dealing with it (Metagross, Heatran, and Gengar if you take my next advice). The only pokemon which Ice Fang really helps against is Garchomp, who in all likelihood is either going to live anyway due to yache or will outspeed you with a choice scarf. EQ allows you to OHKO Jirachi and Metagross, as well as spruce up your prediction game, since Ice Fang and Stone Edge have somewhat similar coverage on Gyarados.

Is there any reason why you're using Starmie over Gengar? Gengar has better coverage with Ghost/Fighting than Starmie does with bolt/beam, and it carries much higher Sp.Atk and far more resistances. Sure, Starmie might be a little bulkier and have recover, but your team is pretty offensive, and the whole damn metagame is pretty offensive, so I think in most cases you're better off just switching gengar in on a resist/immunity and launching a huge attack, even if you can't heal off the damage. So I would suggest a hasty Gengar @ Life Orb with Shadow Ball / Focus Blast / Thunderbolt / Explosion. HP Ice is an option over Explosion, but Garchomp is (once again) not OHKO'd anyway, and Explosion is a guaranteed KO after SR damage. It also OHKO's most Blissey, and is generally a very useful move to clear out a problem pokemon or end the game..

Good Luck; Hope this Helps! --TAY

I personally don't like Bronzong as a lead because of Azelf and Gyarados. If they Taunt you, you're not going to do much damage to them and it screws up your lead. You'd either have to switch, or try to deal some damage. That gives Gyarados a change to Dragon Dance or Azelf to set up Stealth Rocks. Also, I am a Heatran fan and use one like that, but i don't know about using him for revenge. You should go for a Jolly Dugtrio if you want Revenge. He can trap and kill most opponents. Weavile is also an option there because of his awesome speed.

Hope I helped.
