[OVERVIEW]

Obstagoon is the only Guts user with STAB Facade, allowing it to pressure Pokemon such as Mamoswine and Nidoqueen. Its solid bulk, decent Speed, and access to STAB Knock Off make it a unique offensive threat. Obstagoon can outspeed many metagame staples such as Rotom-H, Rotom-W, Krookodile, and Galarian Moltres. It has an excellent matchup against slower bulkier teams because of its status immunity, ability to heal off chip damage with Rest, and high damage output with STAB Knock Off. Due to its poor defensive typing, Obstagoon can be pretty easy to revenge kill or pressure, and Fighting-types like Terrakion, Keldeo, and Kommo-o can be especially problematic. Also, it tends to have poorer matchups against hyper offense, as teams pack more faster threats that give Obstagoon no opportunities to take advantage of Rest + Sleep Talk, although it still can potentially pick up a KO or two.

[SET COMMENTS]

Facade combined with Knock Off gives Obstagoon excellent neutral coverage against the majority of the tier. Rest can patch up residual damage from Rocky Helmet users such as Tangrowth, Skarmory, and Amoonguss. It can also offset accumulated and give Obstagoon longevity against bulkier teams. Sleep Talk lets Obstagoon be a potent wallbreaker while asleep thanks to Guts remaining active. Close Combat OHKOs the only two foes in the tier that resist Obstagoon's STAB combination, Bisharp and Terrakion, while also letting it hit foes like Krookodile harder. Switcheroo can be used alongside Close Combat to cripple some slower physical attackers like Azumarill, Crawdaunt, and Tapu Bulu. It can also mess with Skarmory and defensive Salamence by adding chip damage and getting rid of the latter's Heavy-Duty Boots.

Obstagoon fits well onto bulky offense and balance teams that can generate turns for it to break consistently with the right offensive and defensive pivots. Magnezone makes an excellent partner, as it can pivot and get rid of Celesteela and Skarmory as well as the rarer Diancie and Galarian Weezing. Rotom-H and Victini are alternative pivots that deal with Amoonguss and physically defensive Tangrowth as well as the aforementioned Steel- and Flying-types. Obstagoon can also fit well on Sticky Web teams with Ribombee, Shuckle, and Araquanid to patch up its Speed a bit. It also appreciates entry hazard support in general so it can get the extra chip for easier OHKOs against Pokemon such as Nidoqueen. Stealth Rock support from Nidoqueen and Nihilego allows Obstagoon to OHKO Azumarill and Mamoswine and even gives it a chance to 2HKO Tangrowth. Slowking and Amoonguss can be great defensive pivots, using Regenerator and their Fighting resistance to check foes that would try to revenge kill Obstagoon like Keldeo and Terrakion.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bulk Up makes Obstagoon more difficult to revenge kill due to the increase in power and bulk, but its 4x weakness to Fighting still makes getting anywhere with setup difficult in the long term. It can also run an Adamant nature to hit harder, allowing it to OHKO Nidoqueen and Azumarill, but this makes Obstagoon slower than other Pokemon it would normally outspeed such as Kommo-o, Kyurem, Krookodile, Rotom-H, and Rotom-W. Obstruct can stall a turn to activate Obstagoon's Flame Orb while also potentially halving the Defense of normal checks such as Scizor. Parting Shot allows it to pivot on and weaken usual switch-ins such as Terrakion.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types Moves**: Fighting-types such as Terrakion and Keldeo can outspeed Obstagoon and KO it with ease with their STAB moves. Conkeldurr can also KO it with Mach Punch. Faster Pokemon with Fighting-type coverage like Lycanroc-D and Zeraora can also threaten it out. All of these Pokemon struggle to pivot into Obstagoon, besides Terrakion.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Skarmory and Diancie almost completely stonewall Obstagoon. Neutralizing Gas Galarian Weezing can even remove its Guts boost and force it to switch out.

**Residual Damage**: Obstagoon puts itself on a timer as soon as it activates Flame Orb, so it can prematurely faint after a strong neutral hit. Entry hazards can chip it down a lot in conjunction with the burn damage. This residual damage also pressures Obstagoon to use Rest often, limiting its effectiveness as a wallbreaker.

Hey UrAverageHuman thank you for the work you've done on this analysis so far. We would like to make an adjustment to the set on this analysis before we QC it however.

[SET]
name: Guts
move 1: Facade
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Rest
move 4: Sleep Talk
item: Flame Orb
ability: Guts
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Obstagoon without Rest Talk tends to get very easily worn down by entry hazards + burn chip as well as taking common rocky helmet damage from stuff like Skarmory and Tangrowth. A big reason to run Obstagoon right now is to really destroy bulkier teams and you can't really do this if you are dying within a few turns to all the different forms of chip damage you are taking. Rest Talk really solves these issues and makes Obstagoon a nightmare to wear down long term for these bulkier teams that cant just overload it with offensive pressure from stuff like Terrakion, Kommo-o, Zeraora etc.

While you lose Close Combat this is only really helping for Bisharp and Terrakion, which both take a considerable amount from your Facade's anyway (they both only switch into Facade once). Speaking for myself and not for rest of QC here but if i was to run non rest talk id much rather just run Conkeldurr, which has literally the same power output on its Knock + Facade but a nuclear Close Combat too as well as priority.

Up to you what you do with Close Combat and Obstruct/Switcheroo, we would like Rest + Sleep Talk to be the only slashes, but you can choose to keep them as Moves mentions or move them to Other Options for now, while QC decides where they like these moves to be put. We will let you know if we want them moved around when we QC check it later.

Please make sure to update your writing to reflect the changes to the new Sleep Talk + Rest set, making sure to cover this in the overview too and not just the set section!

Thanks for your work.

[OVERVIEW]

- Has a nice niche as the fastest Guts user, and an auspicious typing, making it a decent threat in UU.
- Excellent STAB coverage with Facade and Knock Off, giving it the ability to 2HKO a good chunk of the tier.
- Nigh perfect check to bulky Psychics due to not caring about status or Psychic moves, besides the occasional Focus Blast from Reuniclus. it does check slower psychic-types (slowking/reun/galarbro) decently but i would rather you just mention it generally has a very good matchup versus bulkier teams and Pokemon thanks to a status immunity and removing chip damage with resttalk
- RestTalk can also offset the chip damage it will take over the battle. bring up how its coverage lets it viably do this
- However, it's middling speed and lack of priority prevents it from letting it get the jump on other threats. obstagoon honestly has a decent speed tier for a breaker like you said earlier. mention early on how its speed tier lets it outspeed many common metagame staples like nidoqueen mamo and bulu. then when you get towards the end of the paragraph i would just mention here while it has decent speed it's still susceptible to common Pokemon such as Terrakion and Lycanroc-D.

mention here what separates Obstagoon from other breakers is the ability to run resttalk because of its awesome STAB coverage (especially vs fat teams; conk theoretically could run resttalk but doesnt have the move space for it) as well as having a better speed tier. then after this, talk about the competition it does still face from conkeldurr and terrakion (both are stronger, terrak is faster etc)

[SET]
name: Guts
move 1: Facade
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Rest / Close Combat
move 4: Sleep Talk / Switcheroo
item: Flame Orb
ability: Guts
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

mention close combat and switcheroo in moves, i believe esta mentioned just making resttalk the only slashes

[SET COMMENTS]

Paragraph 1
- Facade hits like an absolute truck, and is a great neutral coverage paired with Knock Off to hit the Ghosts. This makes the two moves very spammable with RestTalk.
- RestTalk can also patch up some of the residual damage from the plenty of Rocky Helmet from users such as Tangrowth, Skarmory, and Amoonguss.
- Close Combat can also used as well, but can only hit Bisharp and Terrakion, which also take a ton from Facade.
- Even if it were to use Close Combat, you would rather use Conkeldurr, which is stronger, bulkier, and has priotity.
- Switcheroo could also disrupt some slower physical attackers by giving them a Flame Orb, crippling their attempts to break, like Azumarill, Crawdaunt and Tapu Bulu. It can also use it on bulkier Pokemon to steal Leftovers and offset the Flame Orb damage. switcheroo also lets you mess with bulkier pokemon such as skarmory and defensive mence by adding chip damage to them or removing their boots. then mention the reason switcheroo isn't worth forgoing resttalk for is that outside of skarmory most switchins (as well as the pokemon you listed above) already take a ton of damage from facade as is

Paragraph 2
- Obstagoon fits mainly on offensive teams, as another solid stall breaker, paired with Pokemon such as Terrakion, Kommo-o, and Zeraora to overwhelm stall teams. can also fit on balance/bulky offense
- Magnezone makes an excellent partner, so it can get rid of Celesteela and Skarmory, and the rarer Diancie and Weezing-Galar. It can also pivot it in so it can activate the Guts safely
- Rotom-H can also be an alternative to deal with Amoonguss and Tangrowth, as well as the Steel/Flying types mentioned above.
- Obstagoon can also fit well on Sticky Web teams, so it can patch up its speed slightly. mention sticky web setters, ribombee shuckle araquanid
- It can act as a sponge from status from its teammates such as Spore/Sleep Powder from Amoonguss and Tangrowth, and Thunder Wave and Toxic from Chansey.

mention special attackers that appreciate having chansey and slowking broken through. nidoqueen, special salamence, and nihilego all pair well w this set. all of these break through skarmory as well.

bring up hazard support; rocks let obstagoon ohko azu and mamo while being able to have a chance to 2hko tangrowth. the aforementioned nidoqueen and nihilego lay hazards. mixed kommo-o pairs nicely as well and appreciates obstagoon breaking through slowking

mention some more pivots that can get obstagoon in. slowking is a good one here; it checks keldeo and has a slow teleport to get obstagoon in and activate guts. zera pressures keldeo and terrak and has volt switch

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Bulk Up sets can be used to get more power, but it's already prevalent Intimidate weakness lowers the viability of this set. It can also run an Adamant Nature to hit harder, but it makes it slower than other Pokemon it would normally out speed Kommo'o, Kyurem, Krookodile, and the Rotom forms.

mention obstruct here, lets you pressure physical tanks like skarm if it tries to hit you and also pressure things like scizor if they try to uturn on you. then talk abt how it has no movespace for this

mention the adamant nature lets you do things like OHKO nidoqueen and azumarill before you bring up the negatives of being outsped by the mons you mentioned

at the end make note that no other moves are ultimately gonna be worth running over resttalk because then it starts to face too much competition from other mons

Checks and Counters
===================

**Revenge Killers**: Obstagoon's base 95 Speed is OK, but leaves it susceptible to other faster revenge killers such as Lycanroc-D, Terrakion, and other common Choice Scarfers such as Krookodile.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Celesteela, Skarmory, and Diancie, almost completely stonewall it. Neutralizing Gas Weezing-Galar Galarian Weezing can even turn off the Guts boost and force it to switch out. the onsite celesteela set takes half damage from knock off so eehhhhhh imo. also hates losing its lefties. just remove it as a mention.

**Intimidate**: UU is chock full of many Intimidate, such as Salamence, Incineroar, and Krookodile, to cancel out the Guts boosts. While Obstagoon runs Close Combat to deal with the latter two, Krookodile can tech Chople berry and revenge kill it after some chip.

**Residual Damage**: Obstagoon without RestTalk puts it on a timer as soon as it's burned, so it can prematurely end a sweep nitpick but obstagoon isn't a sweeper it's a breaker, "prematurely faint" is better here after a strong neutral hit. just say if obstagoon is too pressured to use resttalk it can be worn down easily thanks to burn damage

mention Fighting-types in here. terrakion + keldeo outspeed and ohko easily, conkeldurr ohkos with mach punch.

I apologize sir

- Has a nice niche as the fastest Guts user, and an auspicious typing, making it a decent threat in UU. (see 3rd bullet)
- Obstagoon can outspeed many staples such as Nidoqueen, Mamoswine, and Tapu Bulu. (very strange examples considering none of these mons even come close to outpacing, like you could outpace most of these without max investment. Rotom-W, Krookodile, and Moltres-Galar are much better and more relevant examples)
- Excellent STAB coverage with Facade and Knock Off, giving it the ability to 2HKO a good chunk of the tier. (Please reword this and probably merge it with the first bullet point. Make it something about how it's a guts user with STAB Facade and that the fact that it's solid bulk and decent speed tier in conjunction with also having STAB knock off makes it stand out as a unique offensive threat)
- It has an excellent matchup vs slower bulkier teams, because of its status immunity and removing the chip damage with RestTalk. (also dmg output/stab knock)
- It can also separate itself from other breakers because RestTalk allows it to spam its best STABs because it is so hard to switch into. Conkeldurr could theoretically run RestTalk, but it doesn't fit the moveslot for it, as well as Obstagoon's better speed. (delete this point it reads like word vomit and isn't really relevant)
- However, it's middling speed allows Terrakion to be a faster and stronger breaker, and Conkeldurr, being stronger as well as having priority in Mach Punch. (I'd change this point to primarily be about fighting types in general, get rid of the talk of it's speed tier bc it's almost a given that the things that threaten it are the more offensive teams that overwhelm it. Make this point something like "due to it's defensive typing, Obstagoon can be pretty easy to revenge kill/pressure because of it's 4x weakness to fighting type moves, so fighting types like Terrakion, Keldeo, and Kommo-o can be problematic" or some shit)
- (Note directly in a bullet point that it's only middling speed tier leads towards worse matchups vs heavily offensive teams and that best case scenario it ends up with a kill or two and is too worn out to create another opportunity for itself without easy opportunities to abuse resttalk)

[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]

Paragraph 1
- Facade hits like an absolute truck, and is a great neutral coverage paired with Knock Off to hit the Ghosts. This makes the two moves very spammable with RestTalk. (cut this out it's fluff and you're talking about 4 moves at once and it's confusing)
- RestTalk can also patch up some of the residual damage from the plenty of Rocky Helmet from users such as Tangrowth, Skarmory, and Amoonguss. (Talk about moves one at a time, make this point about Rest and how it helps Obstagoon become a more long term breaker since it's so prone to chip otherwise due to flame orb and fairly neutral defensive typing)
- (Make a separate point about Sleep Talk and how it allows Obstagoon to abuse the Guts boost from the sleep status and still act as a breaker while asleep)
- Close Combat can also used as well, but can only hit Bisharp and Terrakion, which also take a ton from Facade. (This is too dire of an outlook I think, talk about it as if CC is giving you general coverage (bc it is). "Close Combat allows you to OHKO the only two things in the tier that resist Obstagoon's STAB combo in Bisharp and Terrakion, while also giving you general coverage to hit things like Krookodile harder)
- Even if it were to use Close Combat, you would rather use Conkeldurr, which is stronger, bulkier, and has priotity. (delete, this is not relevant to the set nor does it really make sense)
Switcheroo can also mess with Skarmory and defensive Salamence, by adding chip damage, and getting rid of the latter's Heavy-Duty Boots. (You're focusing too much on examples here when you can easily narrow it down to a couple by blanketing your statements more. "Flame Orb can cripple physical attackers such as x and x, as well as defensive pokemon like x and x." If that makes sense)

Paragraph 2
- Obstagoon fits mainly on a bulky offense and balance, as another solid stall (hard to label it as specifically a stallbreaker when skarm potentially exists on stalls, just say breaker that's less specific and more accurate even if stallbreaker isn't necessarily wrong) breaker, paired with Pokemon such as Terrakion, Kommo-o, and Zeraora to overwhelm stall teams. (the last part where you list off mons should be deleted and replaced with something more specific, you're basically just saying "pair it with other breakers lmao" or just be broad w/o examples since it's enough to say the type of teams it's good on, for example say smth like "obstagoon fits well onto bulky offenses and balances that can generate turns for it to break consistently via the right offensive and defensive pivots")
- Magnezone makes an excellent partner, so it can get rid of Celesteela and Skarmory, and the rarer Diancie and Galarian Weezing. It can also pivot it in so it can activate the Guts safely (combine this and the next bullet point into one and make it a point about offensive pivots to bring obstagoon onto the field, Magnezone, Victini, and Rotom forms being good examples)
- Rotom-H can also be an alternative to deal with Amoonguss and Tangrowth, as well as the Steel/Flying types mentioned above. (see above)
- Obstagoon can also fit well on Sticky Web teams, with Ribombee, Shuckle, and Araquanid, to patch up its speed a bit. (you could make this a broader bullet point about hazards because goon loves hazard support in general whether it's webs/spikes/rocks/etc, obviously combine it with the rocks point below or maybe just make this a point about spikes/webs since those're the less standard and more niche hazards and how they benefit gooner)
- It can act as a sponge from status from its teammates such as Spore/Sleep Powder from Amoonguss and Tangrowth, and Thunder Wave and Toxic from Chansey. (delete this it doesn't really say anything that hasn't already been said and also isn't really fit for this section of the analysis)
- Special attacking teammates, such as Nidoqueen, special Salamence, and Nihilego, love Obstagoon getting rid of Chansey, and can also help Obstagoon deal with Skarmory. (delete this point it gives off the vibe that these things trap the mons you're saying they "Get rid of" when in reality these things literally just switch out nahmean)
- Stealth Rock support from the aforementioned Nidoqueen and Nihilego, can allow Obstagoon to OHKO Azumarill and Mamoswine, with even a chance to 2HKO Tangrowth. Mixed Kommo-o can also appreciate Slowking being removed. (delete the part about slowking and kommo)
- Slowking can also be a pivot that can check Keldeo, and get a slow Teleport, so Obstagoon can activate the Flame Orb for free. Zeraora is another pivot with Volt Switch, that can also check Keldeo as well as Terrakion. (Make this point about defensive pivots in general, Slowking and Amoonguss being the best examples since they switch into fighting types since goon is easily rkilled by them, making that a driving point)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

- Bulk Up sets can be used to get more power, but it's already prevalent Intimidate weakness lowers the viability of this set. (definitely delete this part about intimidate immediately, intimidate is not present enough to be the main point against Obstagoon using Bulk Up, which doesn't even make sense in the first place... by this logic every atk boosting move isn't worth anyone's time, rewrite this point as something like "bulk up makes goon more difficult to revenge kill due to the increase in power and bulk but the 4x weakness to fighting still makes getting anywhere with setup in the long term difficult")
- It can also run an Adamant Nature to hit harder, such as getting OHKO's on Nidoqueen and Azumarill, but it makes it slower than other Pokemon it would normally out speed Kommo'o, Kyurem, Krookodile, and the Rotom forms.
- Obstruct can also pressure Skarmory and Scizor on the U-Turn. (too specific with your examples, reword it to make it less so but also include the fact that Obstruct can stall a turn for Flame Orb to kick in)
- However, none of these moves would be worth it over RestTalk, because it would have too much competition form other Pokemon. (delete this, fluff)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting Types**: Terrakion and Keldeo can outspeed and KO with ease. Conkeldurr can also KO with Mach Punch. (This makes it sound like these're the only examples of this, maybe more of a gp thing but word it like "fighting types such as...", you can also mention things with fighting coverage like lycandusk and zera as a side note)

**Revenge Killers**: Obstagoon's base 95 Speed is OK, but leaves it susceptible to other faster revenge killers such as Lycanroc-D, Terrakion, and other common Choice Scarfers such as Krookodile. (delete this, basically touched upon in the fighting types thing and things w/o fighting coverage usually need chip and then it's just way too broad of a statement to make a section for)

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Skarmory and Diancie almost completely stonewall it. Neutralizing Gas Galarian Weezing can even turn off the Guts boost and force it to switch out.

**Intimidate**: UU is chock full of many Intimidate, such as Salamence, Incineroar, and Krookodile, to cancel out the Guts boosts. (Honestly delete this, seems like you're fishing for content with this, you probably 2hko krook regardless and you knock incin's boots and do hella damage as well (cc could also potentially exist), you also knock mence's boots... not good examples of solid checks/counters)

**Residual Damage**: Obstagoon puts itself on a timer as soon as it's burned, so it can prematurely faint after a strong neutral hit. It might also get too pressured too much to use Rest so the residual damage could factor in once again.

Paragraph 1
RestTalk can also patch up some of the residual damage from the plenty of Rocky Helmet from users such as Tangrowth, Skarmory, and Amoonguss. This is read like you're following off of something. You need to repeat why it is run, to offset its own burn damage and give it staying power against bulkier teams. Facade is excellent neutral coverage, due to only being resisted by 3 types. Knock Off can provide neutral or super effective damage For the Ghosts, Rocks, and Steels. Compress these two into the same line and say how its STAB combo gives it great neutral coverage against a majority of the tier Sleep Talk lets it abuse the Guts boost from sleep and still allows it to be a potent wallbreaker while asleep. move this to follow straight after Rest and mention it offsets Goon being passive after using Rest Close Combat is an option that allows you to OHKO the only two things in the tier that resist Obstagoon's STAB combo in Bisharp and Terrakion, while also giving you general coverage to hit things like Krookodile harder. Switcheroo could also disrupt some slower physical attackers by giving them a Flame Orb, crippling their attempts to break, like Azumarill, Crawdaunt, and Tapu Bulu. Rest can also patch up some of the residual damage from the plenty of Rocky Helmet from users such as Tangrowth, Skarmory, and Amoonguss. It can also offset the burn damage (RC) while still having longevity vs against bulkier teams. Switcheroo could also disrupt some slower physical attackers by giving them a Flame Orb, crippling their attempts to break, like Azumarill, Crawdaunt, (AC) and Tapu Bulu. It can also mess with Skarmory and defensive Salamence, by adding chip damage, and getting rid of the latter's Heavy-Duty Boots.

Obstagoon fits well onto bulky offenses and balances that can generate turns for it to break consistently via the right offensive and defensive pivots. Magnezone makes an excellent partner, so it can get rid of Celesteela and Skarmory, and the rarer Diancie and Galarian Weezing. It can also pivot it in so it can activate the Guts safely. Rotom-H and Victini can also be an alternative to deal with Amoonguss and physically defensive Tangrowth, as well as the Steel/Flying Steel- and Flying-types mentioned above. Obstagoon can also fit well on Sticky Web teams, with web setters Ribombee, Shuckle, and Araquanid, to patch up its speed a bit. In general, it also loves hazard support in general, so it can can get the extra chip for easier OHKO's. Stealth Rock support from Nidoqueen and Nihilego, can allow Obstagoon to OHKO Azumarill and Mamoswine, with even a chance to 2HKO Tangrowth. Slowking and Amoonguss can be great defensive pivots, due to them having Regenerator and a Fighting resist being a Fighting-resistant Pokemon, so Obstagoon has a safety net to not get revenge killed.

Bulk Up makes Obstagoon more difficult to revenge kill due to the increase in power and bulk, but the 4x weakness to Fighting still makes getting anywhere with setup in the long term difficult. It can also run an Adamant nature to hit harder, such as getting OHKO's on Nidoqueen and Azumarill, but it makes it slower than other Pokemon it would normally outspeed Kommo'o Kommo-o, Kyurem, Krookodile, and the Rotom forms. Obstruct can stall a turn to activate Flame Orb (RC) while also potentially halving the Defense of normal checks such as Scizor. Parting Shot could also allow it to pivot on usual switch-ins such as Terrakion as well as lower their Attack and Special attack.

**Fighting Types Fighting-types and Fighting Coverage**: Fighting types Fighting-types such as Terrakion and Keldeo can outspeed and KO with ease. Conkeldurr can also KO with Mach Punch. Faster Pokemon with Fighting coverage like Lycanroc-D and Zeraora can also threaten it out. They struggle to pivot into Obstagoon though, besides Terrakion.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Skarmory and Diancie almost completely stonewall it. Neutralizing Gas Galarian Weezing can even turn off the Guts boost and force it to switch out.

**Residual Damage**: Obstagoon puts itself on a timer as soon as it's burned, so it can prematurely faint after a strong neutral hit. Hazards can chip it down a lot in conjunction with the burn damage. It might also get pressured too much to use Rest, (AC) so the residual damage could factor in once again.

[OVERVIEW]

Obstagoon is a great Guts user and the only one Guts user with STAB Facade, allowing it to pressure (relevant meta examples) (add examples here. i changed this because "great guts user" ins't descriptive at all). Its solid bulk, decent Speed, and access to STAB Knock Off (RC) make it a unique offensive threat. It Obstagoon can outspeed many metagame staples such as Rotom-H, Rotom-W, Krookodile, and Galarian Moltres. It has an excellent matchup against slower bulkier teams (RC) because of its status immunity, removing the ability to heal off chip damage with Rest, and high damage output with STAB Knock Off. Due to its poor defensive typing, Obstagoon can be pretty easy to revenge kill/pressure revenge kill or pressure, and because of its 4x weakness to Fighting-type moves, so Fighting-types like Terrakion, Keldeo, and Kommo-o can be especially problematic. Also, it Obstagoon also tends to have worse matchups a poorer matchup against hyper offense, due to them packing more faster threats, leaving Obstagoon getting maybe a kill or two, but leaving it no opportunity to take advantage of RestTalk these teams packing more faster threats that give Obstagoon no opprtunities to take advantage of Rest + Sleep Talk despite it being able to potentially pick up a KO or two.
