To me tbh it seemed a like a reflex. Like "I'm being called out as possible scum, let me do this thing that makes me seem towny". But I mean, why would he end the day and fast forward it to the next? Why not just kill pancake or I don't even know. It just seems like a reflex to being called out as a scum role.

For the time being I think their goals are town aligned and they've been acting town aligned and I'm comfortable with them being part of a decision making circle pending any investigations/deaths that confirm potential wolfiness.
That said, I also want to go back to a post I made last cycle that went largely ignored. The rate of kills in this game is astonishingly little compared to the number of roles and ways to save town from dying. Which leads me to believe scum are probably in a really strong position right now if kills aren't their main way to screw over town.

The number of kills are exactly what I'd expect given one known scum faction, no vigges claiming use of shot, and revealed neutrals without kill roles.
And no shit scum are in a good position, we mislynched twice. What value is there in talking about it exactly?
A good motivation for Neutral Martin killing Pancake like that might be that he gains some sort of boost or ability from finding and killing the other neutral?

okay nvm, finding LW's post wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. All the same, if we can assume LW is legit (which he was right about me so I don't see why not.) Then I don't see any possible reason that pancake would idle both nights if his role requires him to be constantly grabbing people. Plus, "People know who grabbed them" this seems like something very very dumb if his role is basically one that requires him to neutralize every single person, town or mafia. All in all, I do honestly think this was a fake role

I am actually far from desperate now that a bunch of suspects has appeared and discussion can finally move on from my case. I don't see how lynching martin is the play here as we still want to check lightwolf's claim and a few others. With no other mason claiming I guess aubisio is town then.

I was kinda curious as to why my role PM said "omega" before DayJOAT, it so that could be an explanation for it. Idt there is any interaction with it, but it's a cool easter egg regardless.

Anyway, a few things.
First of all, I'd just like to point out how ridiculous the notion of Pancake's thing being doctored or modified or anything else is. Not only would the ability to change the contents of the role PM of the person I target just be completely fucking insane regardless of alignment considering how busted my role is already, but given the fact that I have to announce them ITT how exactly would I modify it on any practical level? Not only is having a day role split across both the thread and PMs completely impractical, but any PMs I've made to Hitmonleet were questions about the functionality of my role: things like how combining abilities work (including the order in which they needed to be posted), how immediate the effects of my abilities are, the way that my lynch redirect interacts with the day/night cycle etc. Stuff like that. Hitmon will be able to confirm this in postgame along with my increased frequency of question asking from the start of D3, granted that I imagine that at this stage he'd say CNCND for pretty obvious reasons.
As for my intention, my intention was to get info from Pancake's role PM on the spot without letting a scum kill happen in the process. I considered the way that it interacted with the town roles and decided that it was worth giving up the ability to utilise them for instantaneous info from a Pancake lynch, and it is also something I had been debating since the first irl day of the in-game day: having it hover over Moodycloud and Knights and eventually deciding to actually use it on pancake. My motivation for concealing it was because I was fully aware that it was totally busted and I didn't know when I'd be using it and, as such, wanted to minimise the chance of scum lynching me if I ended up waiting into a future cycle to use it. The other thing is that I knew that having a role like this would make me look suspicious and, as such, didn't want to reveal it until I decided that I wanted to use it, considering that I didn't know when I'd end up using my two then-remaining abilities. The reason I ended up using it when I did was 'cause I was getting bored and wanted a bit of info to push the discussion forward rather than just letting it dwindle in the state of pseudo-progression that it was in at the time when I used my abilities. Was the timing suboptimal? Maybe, so sue me.
The other thing is that I didn't really have anything to fear from that potential scum role claim considering that FH was literally the only person arguing it at the time aside from a BT wolf proposal a few pages before which iirc noone had taken seriously. Considering this, I'm confused about what exactly I would be reflexing over. That said, its a minor discussion point that can be solved with a cop so idk why it took up as many lines as it did.
I'm going now so I'll post other thoughts later today.

Don't think we're arguing against his lynch, just discussing alternative options for future days

Martin idled the last two nights according to light wolf, so he can't be a day JOAT. He has some form of night action. Or it's just another inconsistency between lightwolf and his results. I'm more inclined to believe Lightwolf over Martin just considering that.
Knight is still a great lynch and probably what we should be doing today. But if we are trusting Lightwolf's idle finding powers, we have to trust that Martin has a night action.
