I asked tak_29 to teach my deoxys the elemental punches and apparently only the normal form can actually learn them. Can anyone confirm this?

Hm? You have re-edited your post and my one has been deleted....so Feebas doesn't get Swift then? Serebii made an error? If so, the first post needs to be corrected again.

On Serebii, Ekans and Arbok learn Swift, whereas here they learn Spite. I think Spite makes more sense, but I have no idea which is right.

I assumed that Serebii had gotten its move tutor info directly from the game code, but is this actually the case? Testing manually is fallible in that moves a Pokémon already has do not appear in the tutor list. This is an easy thing to forget and I can't help but wonder if, for example, Nidoran Female should be able to learn Helping Hand via move tutor, being that she learns it via level up.

Yeah you can't completely rely on Serebii's list. I had noticed that Machop/choke/champ had Thunderpunch missing from their tutor list on Serebii. But it's there now after I told him. I also wonder about Nidoran (F) too, but both Smogon and Serebii say they can't learn it via tutor so I guess it can't.

we edited the main post to fix it.
Oh yeah, I see that. It's just that Stellar had also edited his post with Swift on Feebas, but removed it afterwards.

Nearly forgot, Squirtle gets Iron Defense at Lv34.

Could someone please write all of this up in patch format?
The NFE's and Little Cup are still waiting for their new moves...

Ok, thanks. I will ask Doug about it.
Don't bug Doug about it. He'll add it the next time he restarts the servers. HEs working on getting the statstics for us right now ( I think) so i doubt he would like the remainder of what he already plans on doing.

This thread claims that Solrock can learn Iron Defense, but Serebii does not have it listed. I'm also surprised it doesn't learn Heat Wave. Could somebody please double-check this?

Also could someone double check if Togekiss learns Icy Wind? Thanks.

EDIT: I just want to add that I'm outraged that Unown didn't get Ancientpower!!!!

If you look below, EvilMario tested Togekiss and it says Ominous Wind instead of Icy Wind. Maybe RBGolbat just made a mistake as he copied it into the main post? (If not, my apologies.)

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun, but after going through the first 350 Pokémon and cross-referencing them with Serebii, it seems to me that Serebii just copied Smogon's list, Smogon copied Serebii's list, or a little bit of both. The upshot is that checking a move at both sites doesn't confirm anything. It would be nice if one site or the other could look into the game code and extract the actual lists. That would also get us around the problem of a move not showing up because the Pokémon already knows it.

Yeah it must be. Togetic apparently gets Ominous Wind, so I reckon Togekiss would be able too. Especially when all other Flying types can get it, including Combee. lol So I think it's safe to say that Togekiss cannot get Icy Wind, but however it can get Ominous Wind.

Speaking of Icy Wind, I find it strange that Murkrow can it, but not Honchkrow...

You're not jumping it. Serebii clearly used some of my Smogon's list, he even said so himself. While Smogon used Serebii's list for all the Pokemon that they hadn't tested yet, which was roughly 90-95% of the non-fully evolved Pokemon.

Its odd that Porygon gets Magnet Rise as a Lv. up move but not as a tutor move.. can someone check it?

Edit: Same with Gligar and Knock Off.

It is possible that the Pokemon already had these moves when taken to the Move Tutor so they did not show up.

Edit 2: I asked Bobtheball4 to check it, and Porygon does not get Magnet Rise. He is just checking Knock Off.
