Official Smogon Tournament XIX - Announcements

This thread will be used to communicate important information to players in OST.
Prize pool
The winner of this year’s Official Smogon Tournament will receive the top prize of 200 USD! Additional prizes for other top finishes may also be offered, and will be announced in this thread as soon as they're available.

Required Replays
As a reminder to all players, it is required that you post links to your replays in the same post that you claim your win, starting in Round 2. You are not required to post your replays for your Round 1 games, though you are still encouraged to save them in case of a dispute.

For new players, to get a link to the replay of your game, click on the "Upload and share replay" button that appears below the battle screen after it completes (see image). This will then give you a link that can be used to view the replay. If you click "Download replay", the replay will instead be saved to your computer, which we do not have access to.

Due to an error when creating the brackets, Round 1 went up erroneously. Games that were begun in the time period between the incorrect Round 1 going up and now will still be counted, but otherwise please do not play your games for Round 1 yet.

The correct Round 1 brackets will be going up shortly.

EDIT: This has been resolved. Please use the active threads to determine your Round 1 opponent, if you saw the originally posted Round 1 bracket it is very likely you have a new opponent.

Greninja has been released on cartridge and will be made available on the simulator soon. However, Greninja will not be allowed for the remainder of Round 1. Players who bring Greninja will be given an automatic loss for that game. Greninja will be allowed for use starting in Round 2.

Chien-Pao and Espathra have been banned from SV OU. However, these bans will not go into effect until Round 3, and both Espathra and Chien-Pao will remain legal for the remainder of Round 2. Games should be played on the Smogtours server, which will not be updated for these bans until after Round 2 concludes.

Any potential extensions for Round 2 will have to be challenged in the SV Ubers format to allow usage of Chien-Pao and Espathra, though these will be the only Ubers pokemon permitted for use.

Zoroark-Hisui, Walking Wake, and Iron Leaves have been released and implemented on Pokemon Showdown. However, they will not be made legal until Round 6, and will remain ineligible for use for the remainder of Round 5. The Smogtours server will not be updated to include these Pokemon until after Round 5 concludes, but be careful not to bring these newly released Pokemon in games played on the main server.

Decidueye has been released on cartridge. However, it will not be made legal until Round 8, and will remain ineligible for use for the remainder of Round 7. The Smogtours server will not be updated to allow Decidueye until after Round 7 concludes, but be careful not to bring it in games played on the main server.
