"...this is where they're fighting." Jonas had made his way to the agreed rendezvous point for the battle, and he was, quite frankly, unimpressed. "So what exactly are the details on this place..." Jonas took a glance at his BoneTablet(c) for the groundwork.

Arena: Bounce House
A open-topped house with very springy walls and floor. Pokemon may bounce off these walls, but attacks (outside of punching and kicking moves) cannot. The castle absorbs impact, is off the ground, and has no nearby source of water, disallowing Earthquake, Magnitude, Dig, and Surf. Weather is fine since the roof is open. Any time an attack misses it inflicts 1 Damage Counter to the Bounce House; when it reaches 3 Damage Counters, the house will pop and deflate, reducing the Speed and Accuracy of all Pokemon by a flat 10%. The only exceptions to this are pure Ghost-types and the Gastly line, who can move through walls and retain full freedom of mobility and accuracy. If a sharp attack (e.g., Stone Edge, Twineedle) misses, the Bounce House deflates instantly. The Bounce House will be repaired and reinflated two rounds after it is popped.
SPECIAL RULE: Only Pokemon allowed in Middle Cup (2nd stage in a 3-stage evolutionary line) may be used, since it's a safety hazard for Basic Pokemon and fully evolved Pokemon are too large.

Go Metang and Gabite!
I thought you put something in your acceptance post asking to change it to 2v2.

accepting!

lf 2v2 dubs
Now that I go back and check it, that's an l, not an I (though I still don't know what it means). I'll edit my other two Pokemon into this post, though those were the two I was going to lead with.

Severus: The first thing we need to do is cripple Metang, so hit him with a Will-O-Wisp. Follow that up with a Hex, also aimed at Metang. Finish up with a Confuse Ray, still on Metang.

Albus: Open with a Hail to give yourself some free healing. Next use Blizzard. End with an Ice Beam on Gabite.

Summary:
Severus: Will-O-Wisp Metang -> Hex Metang -> Confuse Ray Metang (if Will-O-Wisp misses, use it again and make the third action Hex)
Albus: Hail -> Blizzard -> Ice Beam Gabite

EDIT: Here are the other two.

Duosion [Ginny] (F)
Nature: Relaxed (Adds One (1) Rank to Defense; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks)

Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Overcoat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather.
Magic Guard: (Innate) This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Hail, Sandstorm, and damage from Leech Seed, Poisoning, and Burn. It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not absorb any damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks.
Regenerator (DW): (Innate) When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

haha that's lf as in looking for x.x If its cool with the ref, we COULD switch this to a 2v2 dubs real quick. i don't know how much it matters to you. Anyways:

Metang, go on the offense! Meteor Mash [Ice Cream] ~ Iron Head [Ice Cream] ~ Meteor Mash [Ice Cream]

Gabite you are awesome and will evolve after this battle! Besides that, Iron Head [Vanillish] ~ Sandstorm to activate sand veil and to knock blizzard back down to 70% ~ Dig underground and stay down until after the Ice Beam, then come up and hit the ice cream!

Summary:
LANDMASTER: Meteor Mash [Vanillish ] ~ Iron Head [Vanillish ] ~ Meteor Mash [Vanillish ]

Kain: Iron Head [Vanillish
] ~ Sandstorm ~ Dig and stay down until Ice Beam is fired, then attack [Vanillish]

Two things:

1) I had intended this to be 4 vs 4 Doubles, but if you want to change it, Venser, that's fine with me.

2) Shouldn't Venser have issued actions first since he sent out second?

EDIT: Sounds good, shadowbone. Sorry for being so confusing.

SO

FUCKING

CONFUSED

...Alright. Let's take this from the top. You both keep out the original Pokemon, and this is a 4v4 Doubles. Venser, make your commands. Dummy, you make yours afterward. Then I ref. Okay? :/

Okay, I guess it's 4v4. Cool.

Metang you're going on the offensive LIKE A BOSS

Meteor Mash ~ Iron Head ~ Meteor Mash (all on Vanillish)

Gabite it's your job to make sure Hail isn't up! If Vanillish ever uses Hail, use Sandstorm the next action. Besides that, Iron Head (Vanillish) ~ Dual Chop (Vanillish ~ Iron Head ~ (Vanillish).

Now that we've got that cleared up...

Severus: Crippling Metang is still priority number one, so Will-O-Wisp it. Use Hex on Metang to take advantage of the burn, and close with a Confuse Ray, still on Metang.

Albus: We can't use Hail very effectively here, so open with a Taunt on Gabite. Use Hail next action, since he can't correct it. Finish with a Blizzard.

Summary:
Severus: Will-O-Wisp Metang -> Hex Metang -> Confuse Ray Metang
Albus: Taunt Gabite -> Hail -> Blizzard

“Meh. I still think that it’s not a good idea to have a battle in an open-roof Bounce House, of all places, but beggars can’t be choosers. Right, Flik?” The Durant vibrated its mandibles in an agreeable(?) way. Jonas nodded, and observed the battlers releasing their Pokemon. Dummy, a bit of a misnomingly nicknamed person, unleashed a spooky specter and what looked like an ice cream cone; a Haunter and Vanillish. This was quickly met by Venser’s choices of Gabite and Metang. Jonas signaled the challengers. “Let’s start this battle!”

Severus the Haunter began the match by generating a small flame that almost looked…alive. The flame quickly maneuvered to Metang, giving it a scalding, but not crippling, burn on its arm. Kain the Gabite, however, bounces off of a wall to headbutt the Vanillish with an Iron force! Albus the Vanillish, in a manner not quite keeping with his namesake, starts waggling his frozen tongue and shaking his frozen…cone…thing at Kain. Kain is enraged to the point of madness by this Taunting! LANDMASTER the Metang is caught by a small portion of it, and angrily Mashes the icy treat with a fearsome fist! The burn on said arm makes it lose a bit of force, however. It also does a hint of damage.

The spirit continues his assault on the tanklike creature and looks deep into its eyes. Metang wants to turn away but is transfixed by the Hex! Kain, however, is still enraged at the Vanillish, and chops at it angrily with its talons. Albus, however, seems to have returned to his naturally serene state and changes the weather. Small bits of ice begin to fall from the sky, pelting all the competitors. The metallic floating beast tries to disturb the incantation with a powerful headbutt, but he’s too late!

The Haunter seems to have no pity at all for videogame references. It sends a small burst of light at the Metang, severely confusing it! Meanwhile, the Gabite remembers his master’s instructions. He tries to summon a Sandstorm, but he is still too angry to even begin to focus. Albus mutters a small incantation, sending a furiously howling Blizzard at both of his foes. As if to add pain to humiliation, Kain is frozen solid by the raging storm! LANDMASTER attempts to avenge his companion by smashing the icy beast with another powerful fist, but it is again weakened by the burn.

“Well! That was…eventful. Haunter seems untouched by all of this, but Vanillish is near collapsing. Venser, on the other hand, is really going to have to get tricky in order to pull his nuts out of the fire here.” Flik clacked his mandibles excitedly. “Heh. It’s good to see you’re getting into it too. Trainers! The current status of the battling Pokemon should be on your BoneTablets© now! Make your orders, and then we’ll start this up once more.”

“Well, Flik, it looks like they’ve given their Pokemon orders. Let’s see what they have in store!” The Durant made a happy-sounding buzz of agreement. Jonas signaled the battlers to start, and the round began!

Severus began the round by laying a Hex upon its draconic foe. The Gabite shivered, and succumbed to the same forces that pelted its companion! The shiver wasn’t only from the strange attack, but from still being inside an icy prison! Albus let loose another icy blast, except more concentrated and only directed at Kain. LANDMASTER flew over, attempting to pick up for its companion’s slack by ramming the Vanillish! The icy delight barely hangs on! All the while, Hail keeps raining upon the field.

The Haunter is slightly jealous that its ally put a foe out of commission. So it Hypnotizes the Beldum, sending it into a deep slumber. Kain finally thaws out of its icy cell, only to be met with another howling Blizzard from Albus! In a cruel twist of fate, he is frozen once more, and fainted as well! The constant chill, however, seems to have healed LANDMASTER’s arm. The creature doesn’t notice, however, as it still slumbers.

The spooky creature pulls out another shadowy substance from its bag of tricks, and unleashes it at the snoozing tank. The icy Albus, however, simply increases his speed while the Beldum snoozes.

“…woah. Venser had a real run of bad luck. However, having that burn dealt with could halp him in the long run.” Flik the Durant merely shivered in reply, its low Special Defense giving him a slight chill. “Well, you send out a new Pokemon, Venser, as well as your orders! You follow him up, Dummy. The status should be updating now!”

If a sleeping Pokemon is hit with a single attack that causes sixteen (16) or more damage, it will wake up one action sooner.
Even though this battle started before this was implemented, I'll apply it anyway.

This looks like a job for Ginny (Duosion)!

Severus: The ghost with the most, though I don't mean to boast. I think you're awake, so let's open by Disabling Ivysaur's Sleep Powder. The last thing we need is an incapacitated Duosion. Hex Ivysaur next, just because we can. Wrap things up with a Confuse Ray on Metang. The less it can do, the better.

Ginny: We could really use a Reflect right now, so if you could provide us with one, that would be great. Calm Mind should let you do some massive damage, which will be useful when we finish up with Psyshock on Ivysaur.

Summary:
Severus: Disable Ivysaur's Sleep Powder -> Hex Ivysaur -> Confuse Ray Metang
Ginny: Reflect -> Calm Mind -> Psyshock Ivysaur

EDIT: Oh, and thanks for reffing, Lyris!
