yeah, unfortunately. a forum upgrade resulted in that plugin causing serious lag, chaos tried to fix it twice to no solution, he reached out to us to ask how necessary it was for CM, and the short answer was that it wasn't valuable enough for chaos to spend his limited free time basically writing the plugin from scratch to readd it for the moment

the short answer is it led to the stupidest argtuments oat

What's hypoclaiming

hypoclaiming would eg be everyone syaing the results from a cop role, even if theyre not a cop. obviously then we cant use the info but when the cop dies or is otherwise cleared mechanically we know who they are and their full span of results (similar w who youre targeting w other roles)

Hypo claiming is good if done well

Do I trust people to do well? No but if you’re comfortable there’s never any harm on the experienced players behalf

i want to play! it's day 1 so its hard for things to happen

i think hypoclaim makes sense in a world where we're all masterful logicians but i think its more likely that someone fucks up the logic and then a false claim flies under the suspicion or someone gets voted off to bad logic

The thing with hypo claim is, it doesn’t need to be everyone if you half do it, it has the same effect even if the actual cop chooses not to so it’s not a real loss if someone doesn’t partake

The risk is someone partaking and doing a bad job and then they end up dropping cover
