Pain Split + Drain Punch Trevenant could be fun.

That really doesn't do much to help the fact that he's passive AF. Pain Split might help a bit, but let's be honest, Trenevant was never lacking in recovery with harvest and leech seed, he just doesn't have the defensive stats to take advantage of it.

her guys is a scarfed diggersby set with u-turn, earthquake, return, and foul play any good? or should some of the moves be switched out for other moves? (note: im not switching out foul play for knock off because foul play gets boosted by huge power and demolishes physical attackers)

You can do the exact same thing with Knock Off if you want Dark coverage, with even better utility. If you want to catch out faster physical attackers, Scarf already takes care of most of them, and a Life Orb SD + Quick Attack set takes care of things that you can only get with priority.

If something's gotten to the point where only Scarfed Foul Play can take it out, it probably outspeeds you past your Scarf anyways (read: DD users).

The thing with foul play diggers is that he already demolishes physical attackers. Furthermore, a lot of the things that you want to hit with foul play are actually specially based (lati twins, zam, gengar, etc). Frankly, I'm not sure how good dark coverage is on diggers, as he already gets pretty good neutral coverage on ground and normal already and would much rather have some SE coverage from wild charge or fire punch. Dark doesn't offer much besides excellent neutral coverage.

ninjasked so hard

This was very briefly mentioned before, but Stored Power could be pretty neat on the Lati twins, mainly Latias. Calm Mind sets for them have been in decline, but STAB Stored Power after even just a couple of boosts is going to hit like a truck. This is especially true with Mega Latias incoming. Baton Pass shenanigans could also add some power. You'd likely have to give up the Defog set to make this happen, but there are other Defogers/Spinners to make up for that if you really need.

CM + Stored Power Mega-Latias is rife in the ORAS OU ladder, since the only thing that hard stops it is Dark-types.

Closing this thread because we now have a metagame discussion thread, plus all the movepool additions have been discussed sufficiency by now.
