How do I beat teams who abuse U-turn and Volt Switch? These two moves were the main reason why I didn't play gen 5 OU that much (plus the power creep across the board, but there's no getting around that). They are 100% upside and have zero drawbacks; they literally take no skill at all to use. Honestly, I'm surprised Smogon never voted to ban them for taking skill out of the game...

Setup hazards

This is more of a 3DS question: You can easily undownload an update for a game right? For example, I've heard that the cloning trick is fixed with this update. I could download the new update to reaccess the internet, then undownload it to clone, right?

Also, do I have to see or to catch every pokemon to get the Oval Charm?

There is no option to unapply a patch. And even if you could, you can't access the internet options ingame without the new patch.

Volt turn teams have several exploitable weaknesses:

1.) Volt turn teams rely on lots of switching, so spikes and stealth rock are very effective against volt turn teams.
2.) Blissey walls pretty much all of the special volt-turn users.
3.) Because volt switch and u-turn are relatively mediocre damaging moves, very powerful attacks with good neutral coverage will wear them down faster than they wear you down, or deter them from volt-turning
4.) Status like burn, sleep, and paralyses is a great weapon to halt the offensive momentum of volt-turn.

what would i substitute heatran with, since its pre-bank? i was thinking rotom heat or a bulky arcanine
A 14 day wait, most likely. Though in all seriousness I don't know, there's nothing really quite like Heatran in terms of what it checks. Your post did remind me that Rotom-W is a good addition to that core though.

Yeah I might wait it out for post pokebank, so i can get a heatran, that would be the backbone of my bulky offensive team

Are there any other good team builders out there, or should I stick with Marriland's? It hasn't been updated in a while, but if it's all we got...

Are tutor moves breedable? For example, I have a gengar with pain split in black/white, then I transfer it to X/Y. If I breed it with another gengar, the offspring will inherit pain split?

Psypokes has one but it doesn't take into account abilities...

No (unless they're also egg moves of course)

Apart from Starmie and Excadrill, who are the good gen VI spinners?

Uhhhh outside of Starmie and Excadrill, i'd say Mega Blastoise is a viable option for a spinner, it's incredibly durable and can take most hits very well, making it easy to send out blastoise, take a hit, and use Rapid Spin when the time is right, something Starmie and Excadrill have trouble doing due to their lower overall bulk, and with a base 135 Special Attack stat and mega launcher boosted Dark Pulses, Aura Spheres, and Water Pulses to work with (although Scald and Hydro Pump work over the latter) its no pushover offensively either, and can make its presence known outside of just Rapid Spinning and dying for sure. What's more? Mega Blastoise's Mega Launcher boosted Dark Pulse should be doing major damage to pretty much any Ghost-type in the game that might try to spinblock blastoise, making it very easy to take out these bulky Ghost-types and use Rapid Spin unimpeded. Blastoise has one huge downside though that makes it a bit less appealing imo: you have to use up your mega slot to use it. This means that its completely impossible to use Mega Blastoise on a team that already has another Mega Pokemon, which can be somewhat constricting, especially with attractive options such as Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Charizard X and Mega Lucario that can't be used with Mega Blastoise since they already take up the mega slot :x.

Outside of Mega Blastoise, the pool of Rapid Spinners in general hasn't increased much at all, let alone viable ones, with Bergmite and Avalugg being the only new Pokemon that have access to the move, so the two you mentioned, Mega Blastoise, and *maybe* Tentacruel (not sure about him) are probably your best bets if you want hazards gone without using Defog.

Hey guys. I found a shiny Brave Sable. You think I could use it? What could I use in place of Recover? Maybe Protect?
No... Try to get a Bold or Calm Nature with Prankster, 252 HP and 252 Def Evs (or 252 SpDef EVs if you are using Calm nature) and then:
Foul Play
Recover
Will-O-Wisp
Taunt

If i need some help on a team i am building for a week but which is not finished in the way that it is not fully succesfull, shall i post it in RMT or is there another place for that ?
