Some users who I think are good and worth keeping an eye on. While there are always many whom I rate highly, these are just the ones that I can remember from the signups:

From Canada:

spell - I have watched them work this WCOP and they are solid. They have a base that is advantageous for moving to ORAS and are competent in both building and playing, so I think they would be a very interesting starter this season.

Nu - Another user who has been showing interest and practicing with good results. I think they would be an asset to any team.

ORAS Discord:

Genhui - This user puts in a ton of work and has improved a lot, I believe they are a user that would greatly benefit from the opportunity afforded by 5 OU slots.

Bored Pikachu - Same as the above; a very passionate user, always a good buy.

Sna - A user with high highs and can play well. Good when they lock in but need to strive for consistency. A good buy in my opinion.

im_m0rtal. - This user has been working to get better at playing the game and I have noticed some good improvement, so I believe managers can benefit from this pick.

Miscellaneous:

zRyan - The Lion returns to try his hand at ORAS. Good foundations and a capable player.

Zelph - A cool player who has good experience in ORAS.

Juseth sepulveda - I have seen this user really express interest in improving their ORAS gameplay; I believe that drafting them would be mutually beneficial for themselves and their prospective managers.

deaje - Covered for me during a disastrous ADPL spell and did flawlessly, I'm sure they will get drafted but I wanted to emphasize it.

Eelektrone - This user is a strong player when they actually choose to play the game, I imagine this extends to ORAS without much difficulty.

Fdmw - They have an uncanny ability to just grab win after win; a very worthwhile buy for the discerning manager.

The Story
The Darkrais: The destined one, fulfilling their prophecy, as they were predicted 1st and finishing 1st.
The Espeons: The relatable protagonist that does very well but is kind of dumb and always right behind his rival, the Darkrais
The Pangoros: The dark horse that people knew had the potential but didn't really believe it, as they were predicted to just miss playoffs but they finished a strong 3rd place.
The Rhyperiors: The unexpected underdog and absolutely the highlight of this story, finishing 4th even tho predicted dead last.
The Shadow Dragons: The secondary protagonist, they were just a few short lucky strings away from making it!
The Reshirams: The intelligent but lazy side-character, portrayed by the series of absent players that rarely scheduled or played. May the force be with you next ORASPL
The Sith: The evil antagonist, but just like his evil dark ways, made sure that shadow dragons miss playoffs by randomly overperforming af and beating them
The Surskits: The Yamchas.

Now I want to highlight some standout performances!

Performances that either are very impressive or exceeded expectations

I was following the Rhyperiors as they moved through the back half of the main season, and I thought I should mention one really standout player. thajester was really active in all 5 OU slots with scouts, teams, games, and overall engagement about matchups. He's a good player who really went above and beyond in the downtime between matches. If and when the next ORASCL / ORASPL rolls around, every prospective manager should really consider him as a flexible OU / Ubers slot. As a bonus, he's a really chill presence. 10/10, would support again
