[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to a decent movepool, Orbeetle performs a utility role for Psychic teams, providing support through dual screens and Sticky Web. Dual screens support is great for Psychic teams, as it not only makes Orbeetle's teammates harder to revenge kill but also aids setup sweepers in setting up much more efficiently. Sticky Web, on the other hand, slows down faster threats like Choice Scarf Weavile and Gengar, allowing teammates like Choice Scarf Gardevoir and Jirachi to deal with such threats much more easily and to threaten opposing teams better. Orbeetle should be used early-game so that it can provide essential support to the team to have momentum going; however, when faced against teams with Magic Bounce users like Hatterene and Xatu, it's best not to set up Sticky Web recklessly, as it can backfire. U-turn should be used to switch into an appropriate teammate after Orbeetle has set screens or Sticky Web. Frisk allows Orbeetle to scout for items on the opposing teams. Maximum HP and Speed EVs with a Timid nature make Orbeetle as fast as possible to outspeed Pokemon like Rotom-H and Mamoswine while surviving as many hits as possible doing so. Light Clay increases the number of turns Reflect and Light Screen stay on the field.
All of Orbeetle's teammates appreciate it providing dual screens and Sticky Web support. Setup Pokemon like Calm Mind Hatterene, Nasty Plot Mew, Necrozma, and Reuniclus appreciate Orbeetle's support to set up more easily. Stallbreaker Mew can help prevent Pokemon like Corviknight and Pelipper from removing Sticky Web and dual screens. Other offensive Pokemon like Choice Scarf Jirachi and Gardevoir can outspeed faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Dragapult and Gengar with Sticky Web support. A wallbreaker like Indeedee benefits from the support provided by Orbeetle, granting it more chances to wreck havoc on the opposing team. Celebi can also be used for Stealth Rock and Healing Wish support, and it can also take on Water- and Ground-type Pokemon like Seismitoad and Excadrill for the team.
