August 2017 - Voting Stage​

Rules:
- Vote for a metagame by liking the post (in this thread) that has its name on it.
- You may vote for as many metagames as you want.
- In order for your vote to count you must have at least five forum posts.
- If your account is less than one week old, your vote will not be counted.
- Do not try to influence other voters and do not bash any metagame. Asking people to vote for a metagame in the OM room may lead to moderation actions being taken from roomauth.
- The metagame with the most votes will receive a ladder on the main server of Pokemon Showdown for the month.*

*in the event that a meta is unable to be coded and/or implemented onto the PS! main server, the metagame with the second most votes will get a ladder instead.

2v2 Doubles

Bring 4 Pokemon, Choose 2. A doubles version of the 1v1 metagame.​

350 Cup

All Pokemon with a base stat total less than or equal to 350 have every base stat doubled. Ubers-based.​

All Terrain

All Terrains are permanently active.​

Automagic

Whenever an attack's secondary effect is triggered, any setup moves in that Pokemon's moveset are run.​

Averagemons

All Pokemon have the base stats: 100/100/100/100/100/100.​

Benjamin Butterfree

Instead of fainting, all Pokemon that have a prior evolution will devolve into that Pokemon, only properly fainting once their lowest evolutions faint.​

Chimera 1v1

A 1v1-based metagame where a single Pokemon inherits specific traits from your entire 6-mon team, based on their order.​

Dancerability

Moves that would activate a Pokemon's ability get copied and used back at the opponent.​

Follow the Leader

Every Pokemon on a team has access to all of the moves and abilities of the first Pokemon on the team, but none of their own. ​

Gods and Followers

Each team has a "God" and five "Followers". The "God" is the Pokemon in the first slot; it can be any Pokemon including Ubers. The "Followers" must follow the OU banlist and must share a type with the God. If the God faints, a constant Embargo effect is applied to the player's team.​

Hidden Type

A Pokémon's Hidden Power type will be added to its type(s), if it does not have that type.​

Inverse

The effectiveness of each attack is inverted.​

Lockdown

At the end of Turn 6, whatever changes have been made to the battlefield become permanent.​

Mergemons

All Pokemon gain the movepool of the previous and next fully evolved Pokemon, according to the Pokedex.​
