Jordy Fwiw I think Electrium Lele isn’t too specific for something like this. The intention of a rule like that is to stop people submitting unviable sets that only exist for the sake of beating the Pokemon/core of the week. Electrium Lele is pretty widely considered to be a valid and viable option for Lele to run because of the way it allows it to muscle through a handful of traditional checks, and while admittedly it doesn’t really need Electrium to beat a core like this one it still poses as a threat without being unviable outside of the vacuum of the project, meaning that it doesn’t go against the spirit of a project like this and as such there isn’t really any reason to block it IMO.

Mega Pinsir
Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite
Ability: Aerilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Close Combat
- Quick Attack
- Swords Dance
+2 252 Atk Pinsir-Mega Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 400-472 (113.6 - 134%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Aerilate Pinsir-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Mantine: 448-528 (119.7 - 141.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Easily sets up on Ferrothorn and if u are risky u can set up on Mantine aswell.
0 Atk Ferrothorn Gyro Ball (111 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Pinsir-Mega: 97-115 (35.7 - 42.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO hardest hitting move that Ferrothorn runs.
0 SpA Mantine Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Pinsir-Mega: 78-93 (28.7 - 34.3%) -- 2.5% chance to 3HKO hardest hitting move Mantine runs.

Heracross-Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast

Mega Heracross is easily able to switch in on both Mantine and Ferrothorn and possess the ability to ignore a scald burn with a Swords Dance boost (which isn't even necessary, as MHera possess the brute force to 2HKO both 'mons with its respective coverage options) Since Mantine is opting for a Specially Defensive set, MHera is able to 2HKO Mantine with its unboosted STAB due to its low physical bulk.

252+ Atk Heracross-Mega Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 52 Def Mantine: 500-590 (134 - 158.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Heracross-Mega Pin Missile (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 52 Def Mantine: 185-220 (49.5 - 58.9%) -- approx. 69.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Heracross-Mega Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 378-446 (107.3 - 126.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Heracross-Mega Pin Missile (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 200-240 (56.8 - 68.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk burned Heracross-Mega Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 52 Def Mantine: 250-295 (67 - 79%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk burned Heracross-Mega Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 189-223 (53.6 - 63.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Magnezone @ Electrium Z
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power Fire

Magnezone traps ferro and kills with hp fire and can threaten mantine with its stab

252+ SpA Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 224-264 (63.6 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Magnezone Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 124+ SpD Mantine: 408-480 (109.3 - 128.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Medicham.png

Medicham-Mega @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt
- Fake Out

>252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 52 Def Mantine: 271-321 (72.6 - 86%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
>252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 88+ Def Ferrothorn: 474-560 (134.6 - 159%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Zen headbutt + high jump kick leaves this core heavily damaged, mantine may be able to come in on 1 HJK to save ferrothorn but it doesnt take a zen headbutt or ice punch after HJK chip and, because this set lacks protect medicham can freely high jump kick ferrothorn without worrying about protect

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 152 SpD / 112 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Defog
- Roost
- Knock Off

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Haze
- Recover
- Toxic Spikes / Toxic

What Pokemon can threaten this core? post them down below.

The deadline will be due February the 7th.

Medicham @ Medichamite
Ability: Telepathy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- High Jump Kick
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt

252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Toxapex: 306-360 (100.6 - 118.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Ice Punch vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 452-532 (128.4 - 151.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Zen Headbutt vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 180-213 (51.1 - 60.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal
252+ Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Zen Headbutt vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 198-234 (56.2 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal

Can switch into gliscor once if needed to and just start firing off hits. Also it can use zen headbutt and still threaten this core without any real prediction required.( If running jolly it needs rocks up for a guaranteed 2hko with zen on gliscor).

Reserving Nidoking.

Nidoking @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower
Nidoking can easily break this core by 2hkoing Toxapex with Earth Power and OHKOing Gliscor with Ice Beam. It can also absorb Toxic Spikes and switch into Toxapex if needed.

Reserving CM Taunt Waterium Z Keldeo

Keldeo @ Waterium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Taunt

Once again, Keldeo can break through this core without much effort. It can setup against Gliscor as it scares away from Hydro Pump, as it OHKO at +0, and Taunt shuts down Haze/Toxic/Recover from Toxapex, meaning Keldeo can setup further to +6, and then OHKO Toxapex with a +6 Hydro Vortex. Thanks to its great natural bulk, Gliscor's Earthquake is a 3HKO, while Knock Off and Scald does pitiful damage to Keldeo.

Psychium Z Lele
Tapu Lele @ Psychium Z
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
This mons just destroys this core ohkoing Gliscor/Toxapex with a Psychium Z and ohkos Toxapex and has a rly good chance to ohko Gliscor after a +1 from CM
252 SpA Tapu Lele Shattered Psyche (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex in Psychic Terrain: 482-570 (158.5 - 187.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Tapu Lele Shattered Psyche (175 BP) vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor in Psychic Terrain: 451-532 (128.1 - 151.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Poison Heal
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex in Psychic Terrain: 372-440 (122.3 - 144.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor in Psychic Terrain: 348-411 (98.8 - 116.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Poison Heal
Lele also can switch in on Gliscor once and can switch in on Pex multiple times which makes the opponent likely to double which u can take advantage of
Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tapu Lele: 132-156 (46.9 - 55.5%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele: 46-55 (16.3 - 19.5%) -- possible 6HKO

Reserving ElectriumZ Kyube

Kyurem-Black @ Electrium Z
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Fusion Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Roost

Kyurem-B can come in on Gliscor for practically free, taking little damage from Earthquake and even less from Knock Off due to Z-move. Kyurem then has the choice of Recovering, keeping it healthy, or Attacking, Ohkoing Gliscor with Ice Beam. Toxapex cannot come in either, being threatened by a 2hko from Fusion Bolt on the switch, or the Ohko from Z-Fusion Bolt, removing the Pex from the current relm of existence. ElectriumZ Kyube also has the positive of almost always being paired with Koko too, as the Terrain is need to help Z-Fusion Bolt beat M.Scizor. This allows Kyurem to save its Zmove by Ohkoing Pex with a regular terrain boosted Fusion Bolt after Rocks.

Despite the fact Kyurem resists Scald, Kyurem is not a switch into Pex due to burn chance from Scald, allowing Pex to then wall. There are some situation switch in chances though, like if Kyurem is already Poisoned or Tspike are up.
0 Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-Black: 103-123 (26.3 - 31.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

0 Atk Gliscor Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-Black: 45-54 (11.5 - 13.8%) -- possible 8HKO

4 SpA Teravolt Kyurem-Black Ice Beam vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 480-568 (136.3 - 161.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-Black Fusion Bolt vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Toxapex: 184-218 (60.7 - 71.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

252 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-Black Gigavolt Havoc (180 BP) vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Toxapex: 332-392 (109.5 - 129.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Black Sludge recovery

252 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-Black Fusion Bolt vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Toxapex in Electric Terrain: 276-326 (91 - 107.5%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Black Sludge recovery

Hoopa-Unbound @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Psychic
- Focus Blast

Neither Mon on this core has an easy time dealing with hoopa-unbound. pex basically gives this free attacking turns while gliscor dies to darkinium z at +2

+2 252 SpA Hoopa-Unbound Black Hole Eclipse (160 BP) vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 672-792 (190.9 - 225%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Poison Heal
+2 252 SpA Hoopa-Unbound Psychic vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 404-476 (133.3 - 157%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Reserving Lando-t

Actually both Defensive Landorus and Offensive landorus can be annoying to this core

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

Defensive Landorus can just use HP Ice vs Gliscor as it can't touch it and eventually PP stall roosts, Eq can do 0 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Toxapex: 206-246 (67.7 - 80.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO, Toxapex realies on a burn to cripple it and try to regain life with regenerator but that is really risky as 70% of the time Lando won't get burnt and u could also crit :x.
0- SpA Landorus-Therian Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 172-204 (48.8 - 57.9%) -- 6.3% chance to 2HKO after Poison Heal
U can easily PPstall roosts as if the opp has the balls to knock offs u he is in range of a second hidden power ice.

Landorus-Therian @ Rockium Z / Flynium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Fly
- Stealth Rock / Rock Polish

Offensive lando is a Greater threat to this core capable of OHKing Toxapex at +0 after rocks and using Gliscor as setup fodder

Magearna @ Electrium Z
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shift Gear
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind / Focus Blast

Shift Gear Magearna serves as an excellent sweeper thanks to its ability Soul Heart and fantastic coverage options. Bolt-Beam allows Magearna to hit both members of this core super-effectively, but Electrium Z can allow it to ohko Toxapex after prior chip, making sure it can't Haze away your precious boosts. The last slot is flexible, Calm Mind can allow for Magearna to do more damage vs bulky cores like this (while also ensuring the ohko on Pex at +1 with Gigavolt Havoc) while Focus Blast is just fantastic coverage, allowing you to hit steel types like Ferrothorn and Heatran super-effectively.

Reserving Mew

Mew @ Mewnium Z
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Rock Polish

Dual Dance Mew is able to do massive damage to both Toxapex and Gliscor with its Z Move. At +2 Psychic OHKO’s Toxapex after rocks and Gliscor falls to a +2 Genesis SuperNova without rocks making Mew a threat to the core.

Avoid using weird / very very specific sets to check these Pokemon.
Reserving Calm Mind BoltBeam Clef
CM BoltBeam Clefable is literally never run and if it needs needs that set to threaten this core it's probs not a threat cuz Moonblast Clefable can't threaten this core, which is the only set I'd consider running in this metagame.

Mega Latios as a Hard Check (maybe Counter)

Latios-mega @ Latiosite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Earthquake
- Roost

Mega Latios takes little damage from anything Gliscor or Toxapex can do. Scald from Toxapex does minimal damage to Latios due to its good special bulk and how weak Toxapex is. A burn annoys Mega Latios slightly due to the residual damage and the reduction in EQ's power which makes the move less effective against its usual targets (Heatran, Magearna, Tyranitar, Magnezone). Due to its Levitate ability Mega Latios does not care about Toxic Spikes but hates taking a Toxic as it cuts into its longevity and can be very annoying over time.

Meanwhile Psychic is an easy 2hko on Toxapex:
252 SpA Latios-Mega Psychic vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 194-230 (64 - 75.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Mega Latios is immune to Gliscor's EQ due to Levitate and takes only a bit of damage from Knock Off, despite being weak to it, due to Mega Latios's decent physical bulk, Gliscor's low attack stat and Knock Off not receiving the boost as it cannot remove the Latiosite:

0 Atk Gliscor Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Latios-Mega: 90-108 (29.9 - 35.8%) -- 31.9% chance to 3HKO

In Return, Mega Latios gets a guaranteed 2hko with Psychic and has a small chance to OHKO with Draco Meteor if rocks are up:

252 SpA Latios-Mega Psychic vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 181-214 (51.4 - 60.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal

252 SpA Latios-Mega Draco Meteor vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 262-309 (74.4 - 87.7%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal

Kartana @ Grassium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Knock Off

Kartana sets up in Gliscor's face, taking less than 40% from Earthquake and having a psuedo-resistance to Knock Off courtesy of Grassium Z, and it has a small chance to one-shot both (sliver chance for Toxapex, 30%-ish chance for Gliscor), but SR-equivalent prior damage is enough to guarantee both KOs without needing to bust the Grassium. You can *technically* set up on Toxapex too but that involves risking a Scald burn so it isn't usually worth it.

Tapu Koko @ Electrium Z
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Calm Mind
- Roost

Koko outspeeds either and can force both out pretty easily. Obviously Tbolt/DGleam/HP Fire gives you better overall super-effective coverage, but with HP Ice you can handle Glisco, Lando, and Zygarde.

252 SpA Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 224-268 (63.6 - 76.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
+1 252 SpA Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 244 HP / 152 SpD Gliscor: 336-396 (95.4 - 112.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Poison Heal
252 SpA Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex in Electric Terrain: 200-236 (65.7 - 77.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+1 252 SpA Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex in Electric Terrain: 300-354 (98.6 - 116.4%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Tapu Koko Gigavolt Havoc (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex in Electric Terrain: 390-458 (128.2 - 150.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Black Sludge recovery

Reserving Mamoswine
1517612196168.png

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off

Thanks to it's excellent dual type coverage, Mamoswine can effectively threaten this core with an Earthquake for Toxapex, and an Ice Shard/ Icicle Crash for Gliscor. The only thing that Mamoswine really fears from this core is the chance to burn with Scald which hampers it's ability to do much of anything, and the possibility of getting the life orb knocked off, which shouldn't be a problem as you should be using Ice Shard on Gliscor

252 Atk Life Orb Mamoswine Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Toxapex: 296-351 (97.6 - 115.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Gliscor Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mamoswine: 124-147 (34.3 - 40.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Mamoswine Ice Shard vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 286-343 (81.2 - 97.4%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Life Orb Mamoswine Icicle Crash vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 598-707 (169.8 - 200.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mamoswine: 156-186 (43.2 - 51.5%) -- 5.5% chance to 2HKO

Timid Nature

- Focus Blast

Thundurus beats both the mons in the core, toxapex takes 69.4 - 82.2% from thunderbolt and it lacks the hp to stall thundurus and, it risks getting nasty plot on if it recovers/uses toxic, while gliscor dies from life orb hidden power ice taking 100.5 - 118.1%

Reserving Zapdos

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Discharge
- Hidden Power Ice
- Heat Wave
- Roost

Zapdos breaks through this core both defensively and offensively. I explain : Zapdos takes a little nothing from Gliscor and Toxapex's attacks, the hardest hitting move being Ice Fang from Gliscor which doesn't 2HKO it and with a bit prediction can be a little not efficient. It has got Discharge for The Pex and HP Ice for the UU top tier thing.

EDIT : I noticed the Gliscor didn't have Ice Fang so it doesn't do anything to the Zapdos. Neither does Toxapex.
