PBR help needed

I am currently playing pbr (not right this second) and I cannot seem to find a way to beat the final guy Myteriel or whatever the n00ber is called. I was wondering if anyone had any stratagys for beating him.
For those that dont know what his team is but want to help here it is.

Double battle (all his pokemon have standard competative movesets).
ScarfKyogre(he always will start with this)
Mewtwo
Manaphy
Latios
Lugia
Palkia

The kyogre always seems to OHKO both my pokemon if it goes first.
 
If you hate Kyogre, I believe a Palkia of your own counters it quite well. I'm going to suggest you go and wait for the people experienced in ubers....in the meantime, research counters to those specific Pokemon. I got too bored to get to that point, so. xD
 
A Rayquaza would be useful somewhere on your team. It's Air Lock will prevent the rain from helping the other team. You may not want to lead with it, but having one would be useful. Give it Protect, or at least a Yache or Haban Berry so that Ice/Dragon moves don't KO it too fast.

If you want to stop Kyogre from KOing your leads, have one Pokémon use Fake Out on it and have the other bring its HP down with a powerful Electric or Grass attack. Water Spout won't do much damage after that. For your Fake Out user, you could always try Ludicolo so that you take advantage of the rain.

Like Ghandi said, Water Absorb is going to be killer against this rain team. A bulky Lapras with Ice Beam and Thunder should help quite a bit.

Another idea is to have your own weather-bringer, like a Groudon. Since the Kyogre is scarfed, your weather effect will happen after Drizzle and will therefore prevail.
 
Mysterial is a cheap bastard. Hydrorest Manaphy? Anyway, I basically used the same team he did, minus the Manaphy. I started with Palkia and Lugia, because they can survive Kyogre's Water Spout. He usually started with Kyogre and someone else, so I put up a Light Screen with Lugia and was free to Thunder Kyogre's ass. My Palkia usually got destroyed by Latios' Draco Meteor, so I switched in Dialga whenever Latios came out. Definately take advantage of that rain though, Thunder murders half his team, and dragon moves can deal with most of the rest. I never found Mewtwo a problem.
 
You could send something in that's weak to Kyogre's water spout, and then first turn switch to a Pokemon with Water Absorb/Dry Skin. Personally, I like Toxicroak. He'll wall Kyogre, and you can setup a Sword Dance while he can do nothing to you. Sucker Punch, Cross Cross, etc the rest of the group. gg. :)
 
Thanks for the help guys. I am thinking of useing a team comprising of:

Ludicolo=4 times water resist so this guy should take down kyogre.

Blissey=Resists his entire team (although his palkia and mewtwo could have aura sphere, ill have to look into that.)

Toxicroak=Dry skin says it all.

Gengar=Beats his latios and is not affected by explosion

Golem=Send this guy out first to lure him into water spout, also has focus sash and explosion for later.

Sceptile=Only going to use him to get to the final round(may use my 2nd main dino rampardos instead).

I sure hope this works.
 
I know absolutely nothing about PBR, but if you can get a Grass Arceus then you're in business. Latias and Dialga are good too.
