PBR Little Cup information

Just as an update; Phione is not allowed. I put him on my battle pass I usually take into Little Cup, but I couldn't enter. So, that's that. Having Sneasel with Ice Punch is basically unfair anyways, and sweeps 90% of the cup. CPU likes Scyther a lot after level 5. Choice Banding Aipom, and Baton Passing Minimize/Double Team too. ;D

What pokemon can we expect to see banned competitively? I know Scyther and Wynaut, but what about things like Misdreavus, Lickitung and Tangela?

On one hand, Ponyta has the highest stat total of all the Pokemon that were unevolved from the beginning (so no Scyther). On the other hand... Ponyta was unevolved from the beginning and was never the final form, so it wouldn't make too much sense to ban it.

Also, don't Fire types kinda suck?

NO THEY DON'T D: *hugs Typhlosion and Arcanine*

Or if they do, don't tell me that.
Eh. They're bad because the common-ess and domination of the types it's weak to (Water, GROUND, Rock). I mean, unless it Levitates, the hideously common Earthquake puts a nail in it's coffin.

Aw, don't get me wrong, I have a few Fire types I like (notably Typhlosion and Magcargo, that poor thing). But I've heard about Fire types sucking in a lot of analysis...es. Because of Water/Ground weak, I suppose. And Stealth Rock.

Today's update includes the most efficient way of gaining EVs yet, thanks to EvilMario. Using this process allows not only battles with Fisherman Andrew, but also allows you to EV train third generation Pokémon, meaning Emerald move tutor moves are now open to us.

It also includes a program I've created using OmegaDonut's numbers (thanks!) that will figure out how much EV you need in each stat to max it. If you can't max it, it'll tell you how much you need to hit the highest it can possibly go. As a very barebones calculator, it won't tell you anything else, but I've got a stat calculator too if you're interested in that sort of thing.

And guys... can we please have a format where we don't start by banning everything in sight? While there's still obvious junk, middle, and high tiers, I think the top half of the list is close enough in terms of power to not have to ban everything right off the bat. Scyther and Sneasel are scary, but physical defence seems to be far higher than elemental, at least in the upper levels. Ponyta eats them both, for instance, who is then beaten by the ubiquitous Waters and Grounds being mentioned.
