And if close combat only gives neutral coverage against Skarm, when you could trap it with Zone, what's the point? Your initial point can also be taken the other way, what do you lose coverage against when you switch from CC to EQ? The answer? Not a lot.Forgot Aegislash, but close combat obviously isn't for going 1 on 1 with Skarm. It's for taking that final 50% off after you wear him down.
Still probably prefer close combat though, unless you have a Magnezone or you really have a problem with mixed Aegislash. Physical Aegis can't do much to you if you SD on the switch.
Wow, people really don't read threads anymore do they? I literally just said that 20 minutes ago.Also, bringing CC instead of EQ leaves you unable to break Aegislash instead of unable to break Skarmory. You can't win against both of them, and you'll have an easier time against Aegislash because you can hit him super effectively.
