Oh well I guess with 2 years that isn't plausible and the similarity in character design is just a coincidence. Will the new Gym Leaders replace the other gym leaders?

Well I'm happy that it looks like the Mareep family and the Metagross family will be in the new National Dex.

Honestly my big problem with B/W was the complete lack of old Pokémon until post-E4.

On the top part of the page, where the screenshots of Ice Burn and Freeze Shock are, there are captions that say Zekrom [Fusion Bolt] .... 140, and Reshiram [Fusion Flare] ...140. Can someone make out what it says to complete the sentence?

Unfortunately, they were referring to Freeze Shock and Ice Burn. It roughly translates, "Kyurem now has a move with 140 BP, which is above Reshiram's Fusion Flare."

The purpose was to show off all the new mons and give a new feeling rather than seeing the same goddamn Zubats and Geodudes. Although this game went quite the opposite, having a Regional Dex consisting off 300. (The largest if I'm correct)

I havent watched the anime for a few months now, but as of the Thundurus/Tornadus/Landorus episode, Hyper Beam has been changed to look more like it does ingame (more of a smooth beam rather than the fiery one they used 1st gen-4th gen). But again, who knows.

If I had to guess it's probably comparing their power, maybe? Or just saying how these are the Kyurem's own moves, like how the other two had the fusion moves.

I know what the reason was; the problem is a lot of those new mons were complete garbage.

A mixture of generations like Platinum is perfect.

Holy Wow!! They're really sequels, man I'm so pumped for these :D

Loads of information, on that Bulbapedia translation sight it says the Professor is studying the "Latent Pokemon Abilities". I wanna believe that means In-Game DW abilities, specifically the Gen 5 ones! And new gym leaders!

So I don't wanna go crazy but one set of rumors is pretty close. It said it was 2 years after BW and that the Unova pokemon was bigger. Said there'd be new gym leaders etc. It also said there'd be new pokemon.... Now I'm never one to believe rumors but otherwise the guy got pretty lucky with the rest of his "rumors"

So excited!!

firestorm cannot go on serebii apparently.
I just don't like using sources I can't trust! Serebii never lists his sources and relies on shoddy translations so I'd rather wait for a site like Bulbanews.

In any case, as Synre pointed out, this could be very interesting:
The man in the lab coat is Akuroma. He is researching Pokémon strength. A cut-off portion of the photo mentions he is doing something regarding the latent abilities of Pokémon.

Edit: Damn you Joeyboy. Well I got it in the OP before that post so there!

Yes, and I'm really excited for this game. Although Plat's extension mainly included side evolutions to Sinnoh mons (read: Gardevoir, Jolteon, etc.) at least Unova will likely bring more random, unrelated stuff to the table like Absol, Houndoom, Altaria, etc—what Plat brought over.

/me hoping for Tropius to show up in the Regional Dex.

Edit: New PCs feel like they were ripped from a Shounen manga.

Also I'm officially calling that Cheren is a gym leader and the BW protagonist is a post-E4 "final boss" trainer.

Ah yes, Bulbapedia and their quality translations
The rival is quoted as saying "From now, I'm going to rage!"

The biggest gripe with BW I had was the fact that the Reigonal Pokedex was only Unova Pokemon.

Now, I can play happily. Now, only if they removed the Oshawott line...

Very nice....

new areas, and the scientist really is interesting. im hoping to see contrary serperior and shadow tag chandelure soon.

Well, this made me feel all better about this game.

No real similarities to B/W, old Pokémon from the start, new Gym Leaders (who look really cool btw), and new towns. Just awesome. I'm glad that it's a direct sequel and not like Emerald and Platinum. Though I loved those games, it was getting old.

I'm glad I pre-ordered this, and june is almost here.

I'm feeling that the missing 20 points off Kyurem's BST is going to end up on the appropriate offense for Black and White Kyurem. For the past few gens they've been giving title legends a base 150 stat. Also, Freeze Shock and Ice Burn are physical and special attacks respectively so it'll make sense if the formes also have a higher Atk or SpA.

Anyway, the games are just about what I thought they'd be: true sequels.
It's good that people will stop saying they'll be like two Greys.

Riolu as Pokemon #33?
The current #33 is Woobat, which you get right after the 1st Gym.
And I thought Platinum giving use Gible after the 2nd Gym was a bit much.

Get it's happiness up and it's an early Lucario. GG, Unova.
