Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (DS, June in JP, Fall in EU/NA/AU) - Updated May 12th

The champion must be able to talk. Hilbert is out of question. The most plausible "new champion", if there's one, would be N. His type of dialogue is very similar to a champion's. It could also be a new character (please no.)

But yeah, most likely gonna be Alder. He just fits the role well and it brings nothing to simply replace him.
 
Have 'yall seen the early game showcase from Pokemon Smash a little while ago? Maybe I'm just out of the loop, or maybe because I've only been checking here and Serebii for news, but I just found a video on Youtube showcasing the people playing the early parts of the early game (Aspertia City, an early route, etc). If you haven't seen it, you should look it up.
Also, it shows a battle between Black Kyurem and Reshiram. Below shows what happened in the battle and some calcs I ran that could possibly imply some of Black Kyurem's stats based on the battle (Just note that these may not be accurate at all, as these calcs were run from just viewing the battle).
Reshiram vs Black Kyurem
Turn One
Black Kyurem uses Freeze Shock; begins charge turn
Reshiram uses Fusion Flare; afflicts about half damage

Turn Two
Black Kyurem uses Freeze Shock, OHKOs

Rather short battle, hmm? This showcases Black Kyurem's power.
[Note: Freeze Shock is a 140 BP Physical Ice move w/ 0 priority, 30% Paralysis rate, and 1 charge turn]
So these calcs were performed using the Smogon Damage Calculator.
Neither Pokemon appeared to be holding an item. Here are the main stats I used for the two Pokemon:
Black Kyurem/Reshiram
Adamant/Modest
252 Atk/4 HP
No item/No item
Base Attack: 160
Move: Freeze Shock
It was an OHKO.
Assuming I did this right, this means that the MINIMUM base Attack stat Black Kyurem can have is 160. The battle also proves that Black Kyurem's base Speed stat>90.
Just a reminder, this is only guesswork based on a damage calc that may or may not be accurate. Furthermore, the info for the calcs is based on the appearance of the battle and logic. So don't freak out just yet.

Seems Skyla's Gym got a massive overhaul and she is in fact a Gym Leader again as you can spot her standing in the gym.

I'm sure everyone who watched the showing of Pokewood noticed that Riolu used Ice Punch on Vullaby during those little battles. Now either they transferred a Riolu from PT/HG/SS for the showing or it somewhat confirms that move tutors are in BW2 or at least the elemental punches. I'll be so freaking happy if it's the latter of the two.

BTW, G-Cis appears to be the leader of Neo Plasma based on his overworld sprite.

Anyone else notice that Ghetsis looks different? It looks like he's wearing black or something... like the new Plasma grunts. Is he still their leader then?
 
Dragonite's in the game? Sweet! This keeps getting better and better.
Also, the picture of Kyurem and Zekrom looks kinda like it's in the Ice Dragon Gate from the movie Keldeo and the Sacred Swordsman. Could it be a new location within the games (Well, obviously it's a new location, but is it the Ice Dragon Gate?)?
So let's see...we know Cheren, Homika, Shizui, Elesa and Skyla are Gym leaders, right? So the question is...who are the other three? It'll be interesting to find out. I'm guessing Brycen will return as a Leader as well, since we know he's in the games (Just not if he's a Gym Leader).
And yes, False Sense, we noticed. It's very likely that he's still their leader...and it seems that N might become an ally this time around. Huh.

And the Dragonite battle also had a Lapras, so I hope Brycen has one. Seriously, he's the worst Gym Leader in the WHOLE franchise...
 
Ghetsis is also wearing the Black Plasma uniform. Maybe the White Plasma is siding with N and Black Plasma is siding with Ghetsis? N is wearing the norm for him. Anyway, the trailers looked nice. I'm glad that Skyla is still a Gym Leader.
 
Filb.de has footage of some Pokewood stuff. Featuring Brycen or should I say Brycenman, the evil villain of the movie.

They showed literally the first one on the list so it's going to be the simplest.
It will probably be like a puzzle: find the best combination of Pokemon, moves, and choices to accomplish the goal in the best fashion possible.

This sounds a little like A re-vamp of the thing (can't remember the name of it) from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. That one thing at Realgam Tower that used the Battle CDs.

I believe that's the Battle sims you're referring to.
If it is though, that would be pretty cool. I liked the Battle Sims in Xd, so I wouldn't mind having those back.
 
It kinda sounds like a more efficient way to transfer items between players. I don't really get a "secret base" vibe from that description, although if secret bases did return it would be awesome.

In the trailer there were two separate scenes either with Zekrom or Reshiram.

So the scene has Version Specific changes (that are obvious considering it's N's Dragon most likely).
 
damn..still no actually playable sidegame?? Pokewood seems kinda boring to me, wish they still had contests...so much better than "musicals".

I have fixed that for you, although I will agree that Musicals suck and it looks like Pokewood will be just as bad.
And yay N is returning, now all we need is for Charles to return and I'll be happy.

if they would just bring back contest's i wouldn't have a problem,but whatever N's making a comeback :D
