I am so excited for this game, I don't care much for competitive stuff but a whole new generation is always very fun. I still remember when Gold and Silver came out and how excited I was I feel almost the same now as I did back then.

I don't know if this was brought up yet, but Denchura will have an stab'd compoundeyes Thunder. If he gots an spA stat over base 100 he is on my team for sure.

It has been but I thought it was just a rumor. A Compound-eyes boosted Thunder has 91 Accuracy and 26.3% more power than Thunderbolt (or 14.9% when you take the Accuracy into consideration). It will certainly be used more than Thunderbolt but I don't think it alone will make it OU material.

Edit: If Denchura has 100 Base SpAtk and maxes it out, its Thunder will have the same power as a Thunderbolt used by a Pokemon with 139 Base SpAtk (or 122 with Accuracy factored in). This thing is going to be more of a beast than I thought.

What about Zap Cannon?
You can use it in doubles with Victini to spam it or maybe it learns Claw Sharpen.

That's the part that really doesn't work then. Can you imagine having hail in the summer?

It actually does hail in the summer. It hailed in western New York this summer and when I lived in Mexico (tropical climate) we got hail during bad storms.

Hail isn't a winter-only thing? It happens all the time down here.
Perhaps I'm the only one that has the regular 4 seasons with no sudden hail forecast then, XD. I live in Ohio.

Well if Victory Star boosts its Accuracy by one stage, it would have 86.7% Accuracy. I'd personally rather go with the perfectly accurate Thunder since they have the same power and I don't think the paralysis will be as useful in Doubles.

Edit: If it only boosts it by 10%, it will only have 71.5% Accuracy. That's definitely not enough for me to consider it over Thunder.

I live in PA and the only time I've ever gotten hail was in the summer.

Has anyone else realized that Victini will have an extremely accurate Fire Blast? Even if Victory Star only boosts Accuracy by 10% (one stage is actually better than Compound-eyes), it would have 93.5% Accuracy.

Okay, I have a question then. How many times out of a year does it happen? Or something more realistic, how many times has it happened out of your lifetime so far? Is a sudden change to hail in the middle of heat natural for your state? This happens all the time? Just asking...

It's only hailed once in my lifetime, there's never been a sandstorm, it rains pretty regularly, and I'm not really sure what constitutes harsh sunlight. It seems to rain more often in the spring and summer than in the fall and winter, but other than that, the weather conditions aren't dependant on seasons.

Like I said before, Pokemon are magical creatures and can do whatever the hell they want.

Hey, the way you said that it hailed, you made it seem like a common thing. Yeah, it's true and all, but either you were trying to be funny when you said it, or you just want to include your 2 cents.

Everyone knows what the weather move hail is really representing. Its for snow. Does it snow in the middle of the summer for you? Is that better?

And that part I bolded above: first time I've heard of you saying such a thing. You say it like you've been preaching it all day...

They can make harsh sunlight in caves, they can probably do the same in the middle of Winter.

It snowed in April a few years ago in the UK.

Except Hail represents hail... Why would it deal damage then if tiny snowflakes are falling? Giant ice balls > snowflakes [in terms of damage]. I don't see why it really and matters whether or not ingame it can Hail during the summer. Who gives a damn if it does, it's a game... It's Pokemon. Weirder shit has happened.

I hope the deer stays the same form based on season capture, cause I want disco deer (To compliment Afrobull in my disco team).

blasphemy1 meantioned a move called Seasonal Beam.

Pokemon (currently) and Left 4 Dead also work like Super Street Fighter IV but what I'm saying is that someone doesn't need to choose to be the host for the game to choose a host to do all the calculations and stuff in.

Edit: It does hail in the Summer and I've seen it be sunny or raining in the middle of Winter as well. It technically shouldn't be able to sandstorm anywhere where there isn't sand, but Pokemon are magical creatures; they can do whatever the hell they want.

Maybe read the pages first before you gun down someone next time?

You're welcome.

For the Dream World poll thing, I argue that everyone should try and vote for Mew. Why? Because us people in North America haven't gotten a chance to get him since I believe 2007 :(

Also, it's the only Pokemon I know for a fact I can't get to complete my Pokedex in HGSS/BW lol

1. No, actually I have the right to say that. It WAS my first time ever reading that, so mind your own now...

2. I see you wanted to be a jackass and not include everything. You want to tell me to to read everything, but you decide to read certain things and to pick on responses we've said to each other.

3. WTF! You don't understand anything, maybe if you READ everything(Hell yes, I'm going to point you out on your own shit), you could've seen the reason why I said that he/she made that remark as if it happens all the time to make me look like some fool. Living at a state close to Ohio and you want to say something like that? Clearly he/she was acting funny.

There was a Mew from My Pokemon Ranch. What we really need is either Celebi (that one that came out in Japan should come out soon) and an EV trainable Arceus.

Edit: I wasn't really acting funny, I was just pointing out that it has hailed in the summer right next to your state. You said to drop the Hail issue yourself so drop it.

I have HEAVILY disagree. We should vote for Arceus. There is no way to legally obtain an Arceus below level 100 and therefore no way to EV train a legit Arceus higher than 100 in any stat (due to only being able to EV train by vitamins). This is the reason that Arceus is not allowed in the Uber metagame (Recently changed to implement Farceus into the upcoming PokeLab). I believe that completing a metagame is more important than completing a PokeDex, especially since you can get Mews from any number of people in WiFi.

I did drop it actually. It was AquaShield or "whoever" that decided to pick up on the issue.

And it's not even about that, he/she was trying to correct me on something that they don't even know what they getting into.

Actually, I've only ever seen hail in the summer... Hail usually occurs during violent thunderstorms (it hails at least once a year usually in Western PA). I guess I just don't count ice storms in the winter hail (though it technically is, I suppose), but even then, Ice Storms don't really occur unless your on the border of 32 degrees F and it goes from rain to hail (a.k.a. freezing rain).

But I'm going to let that go... Pittsburgh has the strangest weather patterns (much like Pokemon world apparently) and you can get any weather at any time of year. I've had a snow storm on my birthday when I was young (and I'm born April 20th) that was almost 20 inches. I've been outside on New Years Day when it has been 75 degrees. Just a week ago it was almost 40 degrees at night and then two days later it was 93 degrees out. Weather, depending on the region, can vary, and besides, I don't see many rodents shooting lightning bolts out of their body... So a coconut tree bringing about sunlight or a frozen stump summoning hail isn't out of the question in a video game

I think the slow news day was starting to make people a little edgy.

Update from Melkor confirming the Psychic type alien though! No pic of this one so the sillouette must be its evo!
