Anyway bluedoom Duskfall98 I wasn’t expecting to wake up to see speculation about how me not having been shot yet is weird. I was lead counterwagon D1, lead wagon D2 before claim, and since then most of the game has still consistently scumread me and I’ve had soft momentum at various points to still die lol. Shooting me doesn’t make sense for most of the game. Arguably the only people shooting me would make sense for are if either of you are scum since you’re so towncored that any shot you make is thinning the PoE beneath you, unless you shot each other (arguably that means if this was a doc save marth is implicated a little, because Tommy was his only genuinely good shot for positioning so he may have just sent it).
If you’re scum fairy / Flandrs / Hydro / Neon, shooting me is actively detrimental because there’s a world where I’m voted out before any of them. Luckily we’re voting out Hydro instead today, who is likely to just be the last scum, but in the event he’s not you two definitely shouldn’t be pushing the “he hasn’t been shot yet” tinfoil unless I get to F3 or smth maybe lol

And bluedoom everyone I’ve docced is dead besides the N1 on Flandrs and the last night on Tommy. I can provide the full list of targets if you really want (and I think I only haven’t claimed like N4 already anyway) but I don’t think it provides any useful info to the town and it may provide useful info to the scum if they’re clever so

As far as holstering is concerned, there are definitely gamestates where I would holster if I were scum, but I think holstering would essentially be gamethrowing had I done it last night. 4-player LYLO, especially in a game where if the vote ties everyone loses and pretty much everyone is in the PoE on a very gradual scale with not much actually splitting hairs between towncred, is scum-favoured by a lot. Holstering to set us back on the path of 3-player LYLO would be bad long term planning, I think.

Tbf, the jailer seemingly didn’t actually get used once as far as we can tell right? There were some early roleblocks but M2H claimed credit for all of them lol
Idk what to read into that but I don’t see the conclusion being that I’m mech scum LOL, if I got jailed I’d have said as much (and I get success checks). Maybe the jailer was targeting people who don’t get success checks so they don’t know it happened, or it whiffed every night somehow
FWIW since massclaim scum have only shot considered conftowns and Shane (if my doc on Tommy worked), and then maybe M2H who was universal townread idr if that was pre- or post-massclaim, so their shots seem rational enough

no I'm saying, if you're town, scum had a chance to break you/tommy/shane pr block much earlier in the game and didn't do it for some reason, which would only make sense if you're mafia because then it would expose you if shane dies somehow, for example.
In any case, I've thought of possibilities where you're town and this is either mafia playing badly or mafia not having a night kill, in any case I'm fine voting hydro here

And also yeah as scum I never shoot Tommy here because:
a)I have the mechanical awareness to realise that the town doc is a problem
b)As a deepwolf I need to be in an endgame where more people townread me and tommy's the guy who has consistently had my back so yeah, its especially bad for me to kill him when I'm also aware that there are people who have been prone to tinfoiling me lol

it looks bad if the claimed watcher dies when you're around, it looks bad that you're still alive while the claimed watcher is dead, etc.
