i cannot recommend trying to get badges tbqh

seconded, if you wind up getting them as a byproduct of doing something you enjoy, then sure. but seriously don't force yourself to do something for the sake of a pixelated image on a forum site. if you find zero enjoyment in what you did to get there, you'll regret the time spent on that & wish you'd spent it doing something else instead. GP checks are just a way for me to stay sharp while contributing to something so it's not just lost work

depends on skill set but like idrt you'll find a satisfactory answer from the ppl repeating "dont aim for badges"

C&C is my favorite thing to do on Smogon, it's more consistently enjoyable to me than actually playing a good portion of the time. If I get a badge from that stuff it's just a nice bonus
