Pokemon Platinum - The definitive thread: Mach 2 (In-Game Discussion)

I skipped a lot of trainer battles, just trying to beat the game, so now I'm having to go back and fill the National Dex.

Although, I only have about ten more, so I think I'll start trading them.

Its a blue screen with text, and on the bottom screen, its a pachirisu and pikachu.
I scroll through the thing, and I can select 2 options the left one takes me back to the previous screen, the right one prompts me for a code.
 
Hmm...what happens if you delete all of Rotom's moves except it's elemental exclusive attack, and then transform it back? I guessing that if you take a Rotom with it's exclusive attack plus one other move the move deleter, he will only detect that it has one move left and won't delete your move.
 
OR, upon the form switch the move changes to the next in-line. (i.e. Frost Forme @ Blizzard becomes Cut Forme @ Leaf Storm)

I'm not sure though. The game may have a set move that replaces these moves. Perhaps it'll replace the move with a Lv00 move.

No because it has to revert back to normal form before it can transform again.

I was thinking that it might learn back it's Lv1 moves too. But nah, that just doesn't sound right. I think it'll just be impossible to delete Rotom's moves if it only has one attack left not named Blizzard, Hydro Pump, etc.
 
Well, the birds are on the loose for me. I was lucky to critical Moltres and freeze him all while putting him within about 5% of his health by first meeting. I still can't access Full Moon Island, but I'm guessing I just need to complete Stark Mountain first.
 
Hi guys, I don't know if it has already been said, but I'm sure that PBR is compatible with the new move tutors because I've just faced a bullet punch scizor. Sorry if it was already known.
 
WOOT my japanese version of platinum is here :D Now to work through a game in a different language.

Btw for that person who was wondering, the only extra that came with the hard copy of the game is a cool little figurine of O-Tina. :| No Volt-Tackle Shinx :(
 
Is there a cloning AR code for this game like the one for D/P? GTS is takes too long and is too risky >.>;

It would be very useful for my shiny/event threads that I run on other sites, seeing how I have less than a box of empty space on my Pearl and can't get a Wii + Pokemon Ranch.

PBR pretty much allows anything that doesn't have screwed up EVs. That doesn't mean anything.

Also, I'd recommend changing your sig. Smogon doesn't take too kindly to that kind of thing.
