also can brick brake from scyther OHKO aggron? ifnot can vacuum wave? if vacuum wave could ko him and brick brake couldnt it wwould be a great addition to its movepool.
And why didnt ampharos get tail glow? its fucking tail glows thats why its used in a light house in G/S/C duh! and dont tell me they did it because of balance because if theres one think that GF cant do then its balance the competetive game *cough chomp chough*

yeah man, mining in the underground. or, if you're like me or you, an action replay. woo for instantly tutoring an unlimited amount of moves!

what are battle points good for then if not for move tutors?

anyone got a list of release dates for Platinum across the globe?

on a side note Platinum is shaping up to look like quite the topper of the previous gens' perks. I mean seriously - Heatran, Dialga + Palkia, Mesprit + Uxie + Azelf, Zapdos + Moltres + Articuno AND Registeel + Regirock + Regice. That and it got most of Emerald's good move tutors.

Legendary dogs > legendary birds would've been much more deserved.
 
i've just tutored fury cutter on my bidoof just to try it out...it cost 8 blue shards...
EDIT : fire punch 2 red shards and 6 blue....
 
OMG i didn´t thought that the tutors were sooo cheap..
i thought they would costsomething about 48 shards or so o.o
but w/e GREAT :D
 
Pokesav and D/P AR codes don't work with platinum yet so I think that it will be easier to get them underground at the moment. They really aren't that hard to get if you bury a lot of gems around a single area.
 
Platinum is turning out to be fantastic, far beyond our expectations...

I'm just waiting for the announcement of an IV man (like in Emerald) and the ability to Synchronize for running pokes, and that will be the cherry on top of the cake

I read that in an underground FAQ in GameFAQs. When you bury the gems they are supposed to fuse between themselves and grow in size but I don't really care about that because I don't bother to decorate my secret base. The cool thing is that the walls around the places where you buried your gems get more treasures and regenerate faster. I have been able to dig for treasure up to 3-4 times from the same spot of a wall and I usually get like 35-40 shiny wall spots a day in the same area.
I just found out that there are already AR codes for Platinum but since they are japanese the translations for their names are awful.
 
Anyone find in the wild new Pokemon that weren't available in the wild yet? I want to know if there are new Pokemon we can chain in Platinum.

Much agreed, but hey, kinda neat that the birds make an appearance. That means all the trios but the dogs are in it (unless there are more secrets to be revealed....) Well can't wait for the american version to come out =/. Hmm I should make a list of tutor moves to check out on certain pokemon that we don't know if they learn them already....

Haha, ones called 'Machine skill' or something.

And no IV Check/Instant Breed either, just item and shiny modifiers etc.

Hopefully the dogs will be in the G/S/C remake should there be one, (Seems the most logical reason for their exclusion...or just GF being asses idk lol)

After seeing all the pokemon getting weird moves it would'nt surprise me in the least if Heracross got Ice Punch or Zen Headbutt, which would be annoying to deal with >_<.
 
Roaming birds that appear simultaneously = no SRing for each one individually?

And Shards can't be transferred from game to game, right? That would mean all the Shards I've collected in Pearl are worthless. :[

But level 50 Heatran? Fuck yeah!
