This confirms a leak from the riddler. Every island legend will have a Terrain ability, each one with their corresponding type. Oriocorios soft spoiled the legends types, and this should give the theory some solid support. All thats left is Fire and Ghost....

There is. Fire, Electric, Psychic, and Ghost. One for each island. Psychic is the Pau style I believe.

From how it's described, it seems Aurora Veil is a field effect and both players have halved damage?

So it doesn't necessarily replaces the screens entirely. It's still amazing though.

i think it makes sense they introduced something like Aurora Veil to the game because now we have the ultra powerful Z-moves with 100 and more power Some Pokemon will need a lot of defenses to balance things out
