I have never, ever seen an Alola-Persian miss Hypnosis in randbats.

I'm hallucinating, right? Or is this some new mechanic?
Please don't complain about luck.
By the way, is this not supposed to have gyro ball?

I'm not sure how that moveset is "actually bad", if I'm only getting one STAB (fine due to MSteelix's decent defensive movepool/bulk/lackluster power), I'd much prefer Earthquake for the power/consistency/ability to nail other Steels/PP.

Here's some weird Gen 2 randbat set which made Clefable a bit useless (Encore/Moonlight/Belly Drum/Charm)

I played some Generation 2 randoms today, and I found three sets after only two battles.

Beat up seems to cover nothing relevant, and it uses Dugtrio's very low special attack. Is there any reason to use it over earthquake?

Why does it know tri attack when it's completely outclassed by return?

What's the point in curse if it knows no physical attacks?
I found this in Generation 6 Battle Factory.

Why does it have ice beam instead of seismic toss? Even in Uber, seismic toss is better.
This one is from regular random battles.

Xurkitree is already very strong, so I think having choice specs makes it worse, not better.

Its special attack is so much better, so why does it know earthquake over earth power? Also, why does it not know recover?

The lack of recovery is sketchy, byt if you look earthquake is standard on almost every gastrodon set, and slashed on those where it isnt first. It gives Gastrodon mixed offensive prescenxe, allowing it to take on physicall frail foes auch as Lanturn and calm min users auch as Keldeo. It also has a higher Bp.

So STAB Seed Flare has an 80% chance to harshly lower Special Defense and break through stuff. On a SubSeed set, I'd rather have Seed Flare/Earth Power anyways for the coverage (and Leech Seed's tendency to force switches syncs badly with Air Slash).

What's the point in flare blitz when its a nasty plot sweeper with fire blast?

What's the point in Cloyster if it knows neither shell smash nor icicle spear?

Had this set the other day, I think if Golem-Alola is going to give up two decent abilities in Sturdy and Galvanize for Magnet Pull it should always have EQ to actually be able to KO opposing Steel-types.

Additionally, Alolan Golem should not have access to Sucker Punch; regular Golem has access to it only via a G4 tutor.

Randbats do not take such move illegalities in considerations, it mixes and match event moves with egg moves, and previous gen moves as if they were perfectly compatible.

That is true that randbats mixes and matches from all moves a Pokemon can learn without regard to proper move legalities, but Alolan Golem is separate from standard Golem and has no actual ways to learn Sucker Punch at all, so it unfortunately must be removed...

Could we remove Air Balloon Rotom-Fan (although honestly no rotom form needs Air Balloon)? I saw this mentioned once previously, but I didn't see an answer about it. Even if Rotom-Fan didn't have air balloon and it somehow lost Levitate, its Electric / Flying typing makes it immune to Ground. I can't think of a single instance where Air Balloon would be useful; something like Choice Scarf could at least give it a chance. I've gotten Rotom-Fan at least 3 or 4 times (which quite a bit in a randomized meta) and every time the match feels like it is already 6-5 in my opponent's favor

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be an Easter egg.
