SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

The two Regi Pokémon are Regieleci, Electric-type and Regidraco, Dragon-type
Galarian Articuno is Psychic/Flying, Zapdos is Fighting/Flying and Moltres is Dark/Flying
Galarian Slowbro is Poison/Psychic-type. It has the new Ability Quick Draw and the new move Side Arm Smash, which only it can learn. It Poisons the opponent and does Physical or Special damage based on which does the more damage.

Move and ability datamine confirmed

and does Physical or Special damage based on which does the more damage.
You know, this is pretty interesting considering it's SLOWBRO we're talking about.

Have they changed its actual stats? Because otherwise it'd basically always do special damage

(Also isnt Poison/Psychic a completely new unique type?)

Isn't it pretty likely that both Slowbro and Slowking get Side Arm Smash, like Photon Geyser on Necro DM/DW?
That is possible, however we know nothing of Slowking for now so unless we get further trailers or it gets included in the data, that'll remain a questionmark.

(That said, I do think that's possibly the case with one of them being phisically oriented and the other special)

So now that we know these moves are indeed legit....

I guess this does indeed mean there's no other galarian forms in Armor, huh? Every single Galarian Form [line] has a unique ability or a unique move up to & including Slowbro & the 3 birds but....every move & ability is now accounted for. There's only 2 abilities (Unseen Fist, Quick Draw) and of the 22 moves 4 were signature moves for Zarude, the 2 Urshifu, and Slowbro-G. The other 18 are definitely the new tutor moves, one for each type.

Kind of a shame.

Does seem like it's best to expect no more galarian forms (or new non-legendary pokemon) in armor and secretly hope to be pleasantly surprised. The total number of new designs so far (pokemon + galarian forms + urshifu forms + g-max) revealed across both dlc parts is around the same as new megas we got in oras so we probably shouldn't expect too many more. I anticipate maybe another form for Calyrex, maybe a Regigigas form/variant since they have been hiding it so far, and maybe a few more G-max in Tundra.

Burning Jealousy [Fire-type, Special]
Hits both targets and if the targets boosted their stats in the same turn, they'll get burned.

Grassy Glide [Grass-type, Physical]
Move gains +1 priority if used in Grassy Terrain.

Shell Side Arm [Poison-type, Special]
Exclusive to Galarian Slowbro
Has a chance to poison the target and calculates damage based on if it would do more damage either on the physical or special side

Surging Strikes [Water-type, Physical]
Exclusive to Urshifu Rapid Strike Style
Always results in a critical hit. Hits 3 times

Wicked Blow [Dark-type, Physical]
Exclusive to Urshifu Single Strike Style
Always results in a critical hit

He meant "hidden" abilities.

(Which, they aren't guaranteed to even have, though)
They probably will, though.
In terms of Legends without them its because they're either Mythical, have Levitate (Weezing escaped purgatory but lead no one else to freedom), or have some sort of significant ability to them be it as Important (weather trio, zekrom, reshiram, cosmog line, etc) or as Gimmick (Regigigas)
The only notable exceptions I see are the Musketeers which only have Justified. Kind of weird, that. Likewise honestly kind of weird all the Tapu have them, you'd think the Surges would be "important" enough.

But the birds and their abilities aren't really special. And their normal counterparts do have hidden abilities.

Shell Side Arm is Side Arm Smash in English
It isn't. I don't know why serebii reported it like that. It's Shell Side Arm on the website https://swordshield.pokemon.com/en-us/expansionpass/pokemon/galarian-slowbro/

To be fair Justified seems to be really important to their theme, they are literally the justice pokemon who protect pokemon from humans, and it fits with the three musketeer pokemon. I'd say it's more important to their theme then Reshiram/Zekrom, not sure what ignoring abilities has to do with their inspiration.

Also dual type moves seem really confusing for a child audience, which is why they'll probably always leave them as rare gimmicks (and like Worldie said, they're just bad).

Also pour one out for articuno, who got the worst typing even with the galarian forms.

Eh, the typing might not be great, but his ability is. Considering how prevalent intimidate is and how Gigamax moves tend to lower stats, abusing Competitive & Defiant is pretty easy, just there's few pokemon who actually can do that nowadays.

I did however even see stuff like Competitive Gothitelle on VGC ladder, it leads to fun scenarios.

If anything, Moltres got the low end of the stick with the abilities and signature move.

I think probably because it ends up being a coding tragedy
(and also, I believe in general just worse than being single typed)
Well for the birds they'd probably be fine
Ice/Psychic
-SE against Dragon, Grass, Flying, Ground, Fighting & Poison
-NVE against Fire, Ice, Steel, Water, Psychic
-Dark is Immune
I'd say mostly better than the sum of its parts. None of its SE damage steps on each others toes. The Dark immunity helps keep it in check

Electric/Fighting
-SE against Water, Dark, Ice, Normal, Rock, Steel
-Neutral against Flying
-NVE against: Dragon, Electric, Grass, Poison, Psychic, Fairy, Bug
-Ground & Ghost is Immune
Not as good, yeah. Basically a fighting move with SE against water but hits a lot less things. a true gimmick unless it had an ability to brute force it.

Fire/Dark
-SE against Bug, Grass, Ice, Steel, Ghost, Psychic
-NVE against Dragon, Fire, Rock, Water, Dark, Fairy, Fight
I think kind of evens out. They don't cancel each other out at all, it's just a bunch of SE damage and a bunch of NVE damage put together. And, hey, no immunities!

pretty sure we don't have confirmation of grassy glide and burning jealousy being either physical or special, and Shell Side Arm is explicitly stated to be special
