Here's with the nature Adamant and the EV spread
200 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Defense, 52 Special Defense

Bug Bite vs:

Kyogre
Versatile Ogre; 61.9-73%
Calm Mind Sweeper; 67-78.9%

Ludicolo
Offensive Rain; 178.5-210.8%
Choice Specs; 154.9-183%
Uber Support; 146.7-173.1%

The other set is still max attack, but instead of Bulk its 248 Attack, 252 Speed, 8 HP w/ Jolly or Adamant.

I'm sorry it took so long, but I was busy most of today.

BTW, normally, Zapdos would be better. Jolteon should only be used over Zapdos if you need to out speed something.

229 Speed w/ Adamant. w/ Jolly, 251.

Ludicolo w/ max speed and neutral nature will result in 239. W/ Jolly on Scizor will be enough to outrun Ludi outside of Rain.

It is the least I could do for helping me w/ Shiftry.

BTW, speaking of sets, would a set of:

Palkia @ Wise Glasses/Wide lense
Pressure
252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

~ Spacial Rend
~ Fire Blast
~ Protect
~ Thunder

Work well with the Shiftry mentioned earlier in this thread:

Shiftry @ LO
Chlorophyll Hasty
236 Attack, 20 Sp Attack, 252 Speed

~Explosion
~Sucker Punch
~Leaf Storm
~Fake Out

I have Wide Lens to make up for the attacks low accuracy or Wise Glasses to boost all of his attacks. Lustrous Orb will only power up Spacial Rend, so it's kind of fruitless on this set. No water attacks because it's going to go against all weather teams, including sun, and there is nothing for Aqua Tail to hit on Rain Teams. Fire Blast for Sun/Hail teams and Thunder for Rain. Shiftry handles the rarely seen SS. Protect is so Shiftry can explode freely, while it also lets another member of the team I'm using (Metagross) use EQ if he needs to be sent out.

I think it's hilarious that Sandstorm started as the most common team in normal play, but is now completely forgotten in VGC.

The team is Palkia, Shiftry, Rayquaza, and Metagross, so Giratina won't be too big a problem. I start by Fake-Outing Giratina's partner, while Palkia Spacial Rends it. Next turn, Palkia goes for his partner while Shiftry Sucker Punches it.

And one last question:
Would just carrying a slow, powerhouse Pokemon (in my case, Meta) be a good way of countering TR teams outside of using the attack TR to counter it?

I was trying to think if I should use my own variation of Agiligross when I realized I had a TR weakness. I was thinking of making a slow, bulky Metagross to compensate for TR, but I thought It would be a good question to ask on this thread considering a lot of TR teams will probably be used to counter all the ubers.

That can work, but the problem is the most common TR leads:

Clefable + Dialga and Togekiss + Dialga

You can't double team Dialga after Follow Me unless the Follow Me user is very frail. Not too many people are using EQ this year, either, and Dialga resits a lot of moves that hit both enemies (Water Spout, Rock Slide). And even w/ EQ, you would need to use two EQs to KO him because of Dialga's Shucca Berries and high defenses.

So I've been thinking of a team lately and I decided I want a sunny day team. This is what I have come up with so far tell me what everyone thinks:

Groudon all I know is I want this to be slow so I can get the sun up. It will have a moveset of something like protect earthquake dragon claw and fire punch.
He will be paired with Shedinja- Ill give shedinja a move set of shadow sneak, x-scizzor protect and either swordsdance or aerial ace.
My other two pokemon will be a Life Orb Ho-oh with a moveset of BraveBird, earthquake, sacred fire and meybe protect?
Lastly I was thinking of adding a quagsire, with damp it is protected from explosions and I can run a support moveset with yawn waterfall earthquake and maybe ice punch to help out with garchomps.

@ SuperSimon
I don't know about Ho-oh. Its weaknesses to electric, water, and rock could cause problems for it, especially if the opposing team is using a rain dance team as Water and Thunder attacks will be spammed. It might be best to replace it with a Grass Pokémon with Chlorophyll and replacing one of your other Pokémon with another Uber.

This is what your team looks like:

Leads:

Groudon
Drought Bold

~Protect
~EQ
~Dragon Claw
~Fire Punch

Seems fine to me. Fling and Iron Ball will work to guarantee sun, but this set looks pretty solid to me.

Shedinja @ Focus Sash
Wonder Guard Adamant/Jolly

~X-Scissor
~Shadow Sneak
~SD/Ariel Ace
~Protect

He can help discourage Explosion, as well as wall a good number of Rain teams (mainly those lacking Toxicraok). SD is risky, and stat boosters should be avoided in VGC. Why Ariel Ace? Outside of Ludicolo, it doesn't hit anything.

Other Pokemon:

Ho-Oh @ LO
Pressure Adamant/Jolly

~Sacred Fire
~Brave Bird
~EQ
~Protect

Seems good to me, but you'll have to watch out for opposing rain teams. That and be carefull because it's HP will drop very fast when you factor in Brave Bird Recoil, LO damage and enemy attacks.

I agree that there are some Pokemon that would fill this slot better. I think Giratina -O would be handy because it's immune to Explosion, resists water, and is immune to ground like Ho-Oh allowing Groudon and Quagsire to EQ to their hearts desire.

Quagsire
Damp Carefull/Adamant

~Ice Punch
~Waterfall
~EQ
~Yawn

Since Groudon and Ho-Oh know Protect and Shedinja is immune to Explosion, having Quagsire w/ Damp isn't really needed. With a little prediction, it's better to let the enemy explode so you can protect and let the enmy sacrifice it's own Pokemon. Unless you want to keep using Quagsire, I would recommend swapping him out. I think Shiftry or Exeggutor would be better attackers, while Jumpluff makes a better supporter. If you do want to keep Quagsire, than you should swap abilities for Water Absorb. It would help your team more by stopping Kyogre in his tracks. I put Carefull to help against VGCs abundance in special behemoths.

I don't want Impish because Super Simon wanted his Groudon to be slow because the slowest Pokemon gets to keep the weather. Weather he want's more Attack or Defense is up to him and his EVs.

Bold does not decrease speed. Bold increases Defense and decreases Attack. Relaxed increases Defense and decreases Speed. Brave increases Attack and decreases Speed.

Yeah it will probobly be brave or what ever is plus defense minus speed.
The main reason I had aerial ace is for Toxicroak. How would subbing out Ho-Oh for an Exeggutor.

With the Zapdos vs. Jolteon thing, i want to put my opinion....
I think Zapdos is a much better choice than jolteon. Zapdos has better defenses, can work as an anti-weather pokemon (heat wave, thunder, or both), has an earthquake resist, and its flying typing helps against the common grass pokemon being used on Sun teams. All of that in exchange for an Ice weakness.
