I think my team will be the following:

Mewtwo/Abomasnow/Lugia/Weavile

But I'm not sure as to whether or not to lead with Mewtwo/Abomasnow or Lugia/Weavile.

If I lead with the former, the lead would be a pretty standard one abusing Blizzard and all of that with Weavile being a revenge-killer and Lugia...doing whatever it does.

But with the latter, I was thinking of having a sub Lugia and having Weavile use Fake-Out to allow Lugia to sub up, while Mewtwo will be a standard sweeper and Abomasnow maybe a Choice Scarf variant (or not).

I´ve lost the VGC NB supremacy ip adress, would be nice is someone could post it here (could have gone to ask a simple question, but I think there should be more users here who have easier access to it)...

Eeeeep.

Get them hack checked? Who did you get them from?

I got two of them from one of those guys who gives out shinies and can hack, and the other one I got because it was fully EVd, but its stats are amazing so I'm worried that its not just shiny-hacked and/or EV-hacked but maybe IV-hacked too. I'm worried about the EVd one more than the first two though...

I normally get my wifi pk from friendcodes.com.

Whats ya'lls opinion on the best set for Giratina? I know thats a open question, but if I want to hit hard with him do I want adamant or do I need to keep him bulky?

Time Out.

Just go ahead and breed/catch your own pokemon. You have time, and it's much less risky.

It really depends on when the VGCs are. I mean, my Metagross is a large part of my team. The Charizard I could do without, but the Snorlax is a major player. I think that I could replace the Charizard with my legit Ho-Oh, but the Metagross and Snorlax: I cannot go without them! I might be able to substitute my Dragonite for the Snorlax, but I really don't want to.

So...pretty much, what exactly would happen if I went to the VGCs like this? I know that they, like, randomly check people's games. If these are really legit, then how would they check my game to see?

Does anybody know? I just really, really don't want to get embarrassed if I take the risk.

Just don't take the risk, dude. Go and breed your own Charizard so that you know there aren't any potential problems with it. Don't try to 'substitute' your team members. I mean, if the pokes you have do the jobs that you want, why would you replace them?

If your really that worried about it and don't have time to breed them I have trade thread so have a look and if theres anything in there that you need for replacement i'll trade them over to you for free, they are all 100% legit so if this helps put your mind at rest take a look and pm me and we can sort something out :)

They use a strange DS card to check. The game booths have two slots, one for each battler's game. But to check, they leave your game in one slot, put the "checker" in the other and run it. The "checker" will then inform in the respective DS screen about existence of hacks. If your Pokémon are legit, you'll be OK, but if they aren't, the "ckecker" will inform that fact and you'll be disqualified.

And about the randomly checking, that is to a certain extent. If you get to top 16 your game will be checked (even if your game was just checked last round, it will be checked again) because they check all of the top 16 before the finals begin. So if you're in doubt, you should get legit ones, because you won't get the luck of winning it all without getting checked once...

seeing as im really happy of the release of HG/SS ill give for free my Metagross bred myself IV's 25/31/31/31/30/1 its a TR meta if not this one then ill give you Blackchrome made from Blakblastoise and also proved to be legit. also i have snorlan with SD or my own bred TR snorlax(it doesnt have SD).

I just did my arceus event for a giratina and it is calm with 31/30/30/30/30/30 (OR SOMETHING VERY CLOSE TO THIS)iv's is it worth keeping for VGC purposes?

If I had a pokemon I got off the GTS in a box that was hacked, but wasn't using it, would this get flagged and disqualify me?

The hack checker is capable of checking boxes, but they only check your party Pokemon.

If only party Pokemon are checked, that means I can use an AR to check my SID, save the game, and come off as clean because none of my Pokemon were actually tampered with? I suspected last year that I would be disqualified because my game was still tainted with the SID code.

Edit: Thank you. I'll just try to get around AR usage then.

well someone with 512 ev's got off so i'd think and SID code might not be bad either. BUt since it on HGSS why dont you not do that just in case?

What does anybody think of:

Groudon: Jolly @ Lum Berry
-EQ
-Rock Slide
-Protect
-Shadow Claw/ Dragon Claw

Typhlosion: Timid @ Life Orb/ Focus Sash
-Eruption
-Focus Blast
-Protect
-Solar Beam/ ?

Back up Ludicolo & Giratina/ or Dialga

This is just an idea I had on the top of my head and havent expanded on. Basically the point is to abuse the sun but be prepared to slap a slower kyogre lead or switch in with ludicolo switch or a faster one with solar beam. Eruption is for big damage to on both opponents (obviously) and typhlosion outruns quite a bit in this meta. If feeling gutsy an eruption from Typhlosion and EQ from Groudon will take out TR Dialga before setup, although you'd have to be running focus sash or sacrifice him completely.
I'm gonna try and expand on this, I'm very experienced in OU but utter noob at ubers ><'. I can see Rayquaza being a problem for this team, and maybe Palkia.
