a take so hot that it un-melted my ice cream conehot take: ice cream is good
ok well actual hot take timeKirby is by far the very best license from Nintendo. No main game is below very good, each game add something new to the serie and it never feels like playing twice the same game. The ost are just amazing and every game could be concidered pretty when it was published. The level design is great too but I think there is no need to explain that
I mean it's not like HK is like a super impossible game or anything. Aside from like, pantheon 9, obviously.on the topic of Kirby and dificulty, not enough people give credit to the new game+ of Kirby's dreamland. The first game is notoriously easy, but its new game+ pulls no punches. its final boss is also really difficult, on par with the hardest hollow knight bosses.

I was referring to pantheon bosses. specifically, I believe newgame+ dedede is on par with pure vessel.I mean it's not like HK is like a super impossible game or anything. Aside from like, pantheon 9, obviously.
IMHO radiance is harder than your average harder metroidvania true final bosses. I'd put it a bit above CRingless chaos in aria of sorrow since the average player reaches that fight at less than 100% soul completion (meaning no chaos ring) and probably level 40-50 out of 99 (expect to be at 60-70 after reaching 100% souls) while the average player reaching radiance will have literally every meaningful item in the game.
AAA Nintendo releases in general tend to have a certain peak of difficulty anyways, and a lot of the times that peak of difficulty has you fighting the slightly awkward controls and movement mechanics meant less as an improvement to gameplay and more as flavor for what is essentially a kid's game (controls which have long since lost their charm in the hard ass NG+ you've picked up) and kirby is and has always been the shining example of this. Nintendo always makes kirby's movement slow and floaty which adds artificial difficulty to lategame fast-paced dodging heavy bossfights and a lot of the times mistakes don't feel like your own fault, at least to me.
none of the "real" recipes for prominent chinese barbecue and stir fry type dishes are all that old!I think American Chinese food is honestly great
It's not authentic because the ingredients weren't available. The Chinese immigrants did a great job substituting in my opinion. They make it spicy if you ask them to
imo the only hard boss in pantheon is absradI was referring to pantheon bosses. specifically, I believe newgame+ dedede is on par with pure vessel.
eh, I kinda agree on my level. back to back markoth and zote is a real pain, but other than that I don't usually get tripped up by pv. nkg I dont actually find that hard anymore. that being said, I don't think this should be said for most people, as I have beaten all bosses but absrad radiant.imo the only hard boss in pantheon is absrad
and pantheon itself isn't *that hard*, it's just mentally taxing imo - I've beaten absrad three times in a row in practice and then lost on absrad after the 40m of shit I'd be able to do in my sleep (except markoth fuck markoth)
lowkey p5 could just be markoth and then nkg pv and absrad and it'd basically be the same challenge except it doesnt take 40m to get to the hard part
I have places to be man. I'm not fucking doing that unless I'm on two health.Markoth is one of the easier p5 bosses and I'm serious. All you have to do is stay back, dodge, and use your freaking nail arts and spells. If you time your soul usage right, you can even basically skip the second phase with 3 fireballs. Pure vessel is harder and pure vessel isn't even that hard, just really punishing if you don't conserve your shadow dashes well. People just really want to handle it the same way you do other bosses by quickslashing it to hell.

alright, this is a bit weird. the nail masters (not sly), are kinda free for me. mawlek is fun, but not really challenging. hornet 2 in d is kinda crazy, and while failed champion is exploitable, he's still failed champion, and I wouldn't quite call it free. now, a big one is that collector is one of the more challenging ones for me, as there isn't a lot of leeway for heals and also the primal aspids. now, all that are kinda minor for me.
failed champion is scary when you first fight it but after the 10th time i fought it its become a p much hitless fightfailed champion is exploitable, he's still failed champion
walk left and right and press attack and remember where it drops idk its kinda that simple imonow, a big one is that collector is one of the more challenging ones for me
not really. first of all, this assumes you're running unbreakable strength, which, while a great charm, isn't a one size fits all charm. second of all, even with unbreakable strength, if they drop from the other side of the screen, you cant really get to them in time. and when three start dropping shit starts to hit the fan. you can get overwhelmed surprisingly easily.walk left and right and press attack and remember where it drops idk its kinda that simple imo
eh, he's pretty fast, but more importantly the fucking rocks falling from the sky. its not a completely turn your brain off fight.failed champion is scary when you first fight it but after the 10th time i fought it its become a p much hitless fight
?????????????????????????????????????oblobbles is a casual hitless by walking left and right
you push them up and away in downtime, and the volleys have huge blind spots on the ground, it's one of the few things i did hitless. moving as little as needed is the most effective thing you can do?????????????????????????????????????
I've beaten almost every boss hitless, and it was either the third or fourth to last boss I've done hitless. 500 point blank shots to the face is not what I call easy.
fragile/unbreakable strength is probably the only charm I consider absolutely mandatory alongside quick slash of just how incredibly useful 1.5x damage is. This charm could cost 6 slots and I'd still run it, if you aren't running it you're running hard mode. If you aren't running strength, you're most likely using that extra slot space for something like mark of pride or shaman stone both of which happen to be pretty great in this fight too. Plus, it's not like letting the enemies fall down ends the fight- 80% of the time it's just a baldur or hopper anyway that roll over to you for free soul. You can use the soul from these enemies to kill the slightly more annoying aspid enemies. And if all else fails, you can just use your shadow dash to kill the aspid anyway and restart the process. Unless you get really unlucky with like 5 aspids in a row this is a basically a no-skill hitless strat. I don't think the collector fight is particularly hard any way you slice it.not really. first of all, this assumes you're running unbreakable strength, which, while a great charm, isn't a one size fits all charm. second of all, even with unbreakable strength, if they drop from the other side of the screen, you cant really get to them in time. and when three start dropping shit starts to hit the fan. you can get overwhelmed surprisingly easily.
That's kind of why I lost interest in doing much with the pantheons even though I get a lot of enjoyment out of boss rush modes in other games. Want to have a distinct build for some variety when grinding things out? Screw you, run quick slash and like it.fragile/unbreakable strength is probably the only charm I consider absolutely mandatory alongside quick slash of just how incredibly useful 1.5x damage is. Trump also briefly tried to run for President in 2000. It wasn't a shot in the dark; it was a topical quip.I think it started when people said that the Simpsons predicted the Trump presidency and genuinely believed that there was some crazy voodoo magic attached to it
The Simpsons has hundreds of episodes. Them making a reference that happens to have become true isn't in any way, shape or form special. Trump was already a very public figure long before he announced his candidacy, after all. They also made an episode that played in 2010 and made references to a third and fourth world war. Where is the attention on that?
