BH Prankster Groudon [Done]

[SET]
name: Prankster
move 1: Haze / Topsy-Turvy
move 2: Thousand Arrows / Thousand Waves
move 3: Parting Shot / Glare / Precipice Blades / Volt Switch / Entrainment
move 4: Shore Up
item: Soft Sand
ability: Prankster
nature: Impish / Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Groudon sets itself apart from other Prankster users with its stellar offensive presence, forcing out much of the tier. Haze, thanks to Prankster, out-prioritizes boosted foes and removes stat boosts. Topsy-Turvy inverts these boosts, further limiting the opponent, but will fail against threats like Yveltal and Psychic Surge Mewtwo. Thousand Arrows is a consistent STAB option, boasting 100% accuracy and the ability to force out Ho-Oh. Alternatively, Thousand Waves, when combined with Volt Switch or Entrainment, allows Groudon to pivot around while trapping and eliminating Imposter and Poison Heal users. Parting Shot lets Groudon fast-pivot in front of dangerous threats while simultaneously cutting the damage that the switch-in takes. Groudon can use Glare to provide its team with Speed control and an occasional free turn due to a full paralysis. Precipice Blades as a second STAB option enhances Groudon's offensive presence with its additional power.

Groudon requires little to no support and should be used primarily to shore up a team's weaknesses rather than as the core of a team. Offensive teams greatly appreciate Groudon imposter-proofing their setup sweepers as well as checking opposing setup while also maintaining offensive pressure. Giratina and Zygarde-C are some of the few Pokemon that can switch into Groudon reliably, so Pokemon that can threaten them like Xerneas and Kyurem-B pair excellently with Groudon.

- adamant as an option
- Topsy-Turvy has a dash in the middle.
- i personally don't see the point in blades as the only attack, the main benefit of prank don is use offensively and getting bricked by ho-oh and steela sort of defeats this purpose
- first sentence can probably be re-written to just "Groudon sets itself apart from other Prankster users due to it's stellar offensive presence, forcing out much of the tier.", it scares out basically everything aside from fat drags so solely mentioning ground-weaks isn't necessary.
- haze sentence - "Haze, thanks to Prankster, out-prioritizes boosted foes and removes stat boosts. Topsy-Turvy inverts these boosts, further limiting the opponent, but will fail against threats like Yveltal and Psychic Surge Mewtwo."
- VS and entrain are only good with twaves, so you can prob just put these in with waves and not need to dedicate a sentence to each. "Thousand Waves, when combined with Volt Switch or Entrainment, allows Groudon to pivot around whilst being able to trap and eliminate Imposter and Poison Heal users." the waves sentence also starts with tarrows by mistake.
- pshot sentence can probably be reworded. "Parting Shot lets you fast-pivot in front of dangerous threats whilst simultaneously cutting the damage that the switch-in takes." i don't think the "creating ideal positions should opp switch out" is necessary, as this is basically just explaining the concept of a pivot move (which is assumed to be known already).
- fairly sure i went over this in my lunala analysis but i don't think a sentence on recover is wholly necessary.
- you can maybe expand on the last sentence on the synergy with xern, or maybe just generalize it to "nothing likes switching in on don except for the fat neutrals like giratina and zygarde, so teammates to abuse these like kyub and xern work".
- you forgot your name in credits lmao
