Precipice of Dust (Rising_Dusk | Deck_Knight | Terrador) (LABYRINTH ALPHA RUN)

I am going on vacation without computer access for a week Saturday morning, which means you'll probably have to make me fall asleep on the floor somewhere. That said, I think it should be the same as everything else. Have a standardized DQ time for keepers, and if they go over it and the players call them on it, they get DQ'd and it gets cut short.

It shouldn't be impossible; if all players agree, to simply put a labyrinth round on hold for a while. If I recall correctly; Terrador was intent on being gone sometime soon; so it shouldn't be that large of a deal (well, perhaps to those awaiting the start of the beta) to simply agree to all continue this run on day X.

Indeed; I'm going to be gone starting this Friday and returning in about 2 weeks; perhaps we can resume then if RD and Deck are willing to wait that long.

Seems fair enough, take the time you need, I manage to overextend myself easily.

Sounds good to me.

It's in-line with the Labyrinth's roots as well - roleplaying groups usually settle absences by agreeing on a date to reunite; and due to the non-competative nature of the Labyrinth I don't see any real reason why that should vary. Although; since Terrador is back long after me or Dusk; we might continue without him.

I do agree that a general agreement can be made between the players on what is a tolerable extension time for a labyrinth. That said, I would almost prefer it continue without me instead of go on hold if only because this labyrinth thing takes forever and a year in the first place. (Longest ASB thing I've ever participated in by a landslide) Speaking of that, I almost wish there were a way we could expedite the process, since these almost take an inhuman amount of time for one RP, lol.

This has been going on for weeks and weeks already. I get that he's in a tricky spot, but it'd be really nice to—within the next month—be able to use these Pokemon somewhere else. :P I say move forward without him for now.

If this is an indication of anything for labyrinths on the whole, it's that DQs need to exist for players and that labyrinths with >2 players are at high risk for being dragged on into infinity. I couldn't imagine how chaotic and nasty this would've been with a 4 player labyrinth.

Alright; I'll get started on the next update later today.

If I recall; many moons ago in IRC when I asked which dungeon to use as the alpha run, people voted for Precipice knowing full well that it was twice the size of the other dungeons I had prepared. Clearly, this dungeon falls into the "way too fucking big" catagory; I'll try to come up with some guidelines later when I've shifted my brain back into ASB gear.

I sent a VM on this when I made the last post, but we haven't seen hide nore hair of Lou.

Therefore, I'm releasing the mons being used in this RP for other battles or RPs.

If Lou comes back we can still resume, but I'll close this for now.
