Unfortunately pokemon showdown stopped living up to its name and is now pokemon showup

only real boomers remember that the Showdown staff channel was on IRC and called #showup

I was aware of the Pokémon Showdown outage earlier yesterday. Does anyone know what exactly happened? Was it actually something legal based, I wonder?

from what I saw, the server it was originally on finally gave out and they had to switch to a new one

Showdown is back down. (So is pokepaste by the way, I didn't check it sunday but I know it is now)

Never mind. It just crashed for a few minutes. Back up and running now.

It seems to be working for me as of currently. Maybe the inconsistencies are a result of the new infrastructure not being fully prepared or something? Who knows.
