Arbok gives the team an immediate answer to grass types such as quill and tangela that would otherwise wall Kingler while also giving the team some priority, a backup wincon, and a fighting check all in one.

Pretty basic nomination, but Roselia has plenty of typing and role synergy with Kingler so might as well post it. With a specially defensive spread, Roselia complements Kingler's good natural physical bulk which allows it to soft check some physical attackers. Not only that, but Roselia's typing also hugely helps Kingler against Electric- and Grass-types, which are its biggest issue. Roselia also provides an additional Water-type resist, therefore we would be set on that side too. On the other side, Kingler can soft check stuff such as Fire-types that annoy Roselia. Lastly, Spikes have improved since last shift and they can come in hand to Kingler when attempting a late-game clean or pressuring walls by wearing foes down.

Memento and Sleep Powder are notable moves that can help Kingler set up. With boosted Acrobatics, Jumpluff also threatens grass types, such as Tangela, which are a threat to Kingler. Overall, Jumpluff is a great support pokemon that can give Kingler a setup opportunity.

Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Monferno synergises decently well with Kingler as it can check grass types like Tangela, and baits in things like Stunfisk and Grumpig which Kingler threatens out (twave pig might stay in but w/e that person sucks) and it can set up on them.

Roselia, Jumpluff's Memento is nice but I think Spikes are more appreciated.
