- U-turn

Unfezant's great Speed tier, access to a pivoting move in U-turn, and newfound access to Brave Bird make it one of the tier's best Defog users. Roost mitigates the recoil taken from Brave Bird and allows Unfezant to reliably switch into threats like Lurantis and Lilligant, while U-turn lets it pivot out of unfavorable matchups, although it must be wary of Stunfisk's Static. Wallbreakers such as Appletun and Throh are able to threaten bulky foes Unfezant struggles against, like Stunfisk and Klinklang. They also appreciate Unfezant getting them in safely via U-turn and pressuring threats they struggle against, like Lurantis and Gourgeist-XL. In a similar vein, partners such as Alolan Dugtrio and Falinks can weaken the answers they have in common with Unfezant, with the former also dealing with Stunfisk. Lastly, Unfezant pairs well with other VoltTurn users, like Golduck and Liepard, with the latter also being able to threaten faster threats Unfezant has a hard time against.

Unfezant's great Speed tier maybe phrase differently since it's not as fast compared to the rest of the tier as it used to be, access to a pivoting move in U-turn, and a newfound access to Brave Bird make it one of the tier's best Defog user compare to Drifblim imo. Roost mitigates the recoil taken from Brave Bird and allows Unfezant to reliably switch into threats like Lurantis and Gourgeist-Small gourg small can still explode/rock slide, lilli prob better mention, while U-turn lets it pivot out of unfavourable matchups warning of static/pads mention if possible.Wallbreakers such as Appletun and Throh are able to threaten walls Unfezant struggles against, like Stunfisk and Klinklang maybe smth like golduck over apple. They also appreciate Unfezant getting them in safely via U-turn and pressuring threats they struggle against, like Lurantis and Gourgeist-Super, respectively still think apple doesn't belong which affects what examples. In a similar vein, partners like Alolan Dugtrio and Lycanroc feel like falinks/chan would fit more than lycan can weaken the answers specific here they have in common with Unfezant, with Alolan Dugtrio also dealing with Stunfisk. Lastly, Unfezant pairs well with other VoltTurn users, like Golduck and Liepard, the latter also being able to threaten faster threats, like Galarian Rapidash, Unfezant has a hard time against.
