Carbink is a counter. With it’s monumental defenses, Carbink can easily switch in, toxic the stout and get either rest or moonblast off without breaking a sweat.

Sash Counter Kadabra is a check to Stoutland. When given a free switch, it threatens to OHKO with Counter or 2HKO with Psychic. Wins 1v1 every time and forces a ton of switches.

Ability: Clear Body

Adamant Nature

Metang is a check to Stoutland, capable of stomaching Normal STAB and doesn’t crumple to Superpower either, although note that Metang doesn’t exactly threaten a KO immediately in return.

- Sucker Punch
- Pain Split

Mawile acts as a counter to Stoutland. After switching in and taking a Superpower twice, Mawile can Pain Split, leaving both Mawile and Stoutland at just under half health. After a third Superpower, Mawile can either Play Rough to kill Stoutland straight away or set rocks before using Sucker Punch turn 4, as the third Superpower brings Stoutland in range for the kill.

Choice Specs Lilli because it hits stupidly hard. Lilligant is a Mudsdale counter. Lilligant can come in safely into Mudsdale and bop something, only fearing Toxic but this can be remediated with Giga Drain and it usually doesn't bother much since Specs Lilli is a hit & run Poke, unlike Quiver Dance Lilli who hates Toxic.

- Safeguard

Counter: Safeguard is probably the most important move on this set, preventing Bellossom from being worn down by Toxic, it can then set up with Quiver Dance, taking a maximum of 26% from Earthquake, use Strength Sap to stay healthy, and easily KO with Giga Drain or Bloom Doom.
