Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Fire
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed / Synthesis / Sleep Powder

Tangela functions as one of the Stout's true counters thanks to its incredible physical bulk, item, ability Regenerator and moves such as Giga Drain, Knock Off, Leech Seed and Sleep Powder, all of which are able to damage Stoutland or cripple it in one way or another. Thanks to these great qualities, Tangela functions as one of the most consistent ways of beating Stoutland, often forcing it out and crippling the Pokemon switching in with status, Knock Off or Leech Seed.
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 108-127 (32.3 - 38%) -- 95.6% chance to 3HKO
0 SpA Tangela Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Stoutland: 88-105 (28.2 - 33.7%) -- 0.2% chance to 3HKO

While Tangela isn't able to deal great damage to Stout, the dog can't 2HKO it ever except for the 14.1% chance the dog has to 2HKO it with a Facade after it has been inflicted by status, and Tangela's ability allows it to continuously switch in freely. In return, Stout or the Pokemon switching in will be crippled by Tangela's utility moves or Giga Drain. Thank you for reading.

Reserving Carracosta

163313
Carracosta @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Knock Off
- Toxic / Protect

First of all it has an amazing ability in Solid Rock which is able to only take 3/4th damage from super effective moves. Also Carracostas physical bulk allows it
to come in on Stoutland multiple times, as Stoutland is most of the time locked into its STAB in Return / Frustration.
Carracosta can set up Stealth Rock in that process, to whittle Stoutland with the Rocks Chip down everytime it comes on the field.
Knock Off is a great move that allows Carracosta to get rid of Stoutlands Choice Band therefore making it less effective in the process as a wallbreaker.
Leftovers on the other hand gives Carracosta longevity to check Stoutland during the game. However Carracosta has to be wary about a CB boosted Superpower but in overall Carracosta is a solid CHECK to Stoutland.

Calcs:
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Carracosta: 75-88 (21.3 - 25%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Facade vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Carracosta: 51-61 (14.4 - 17.3%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Solid Rock Carracosta: 177-208 (50.2 - 59%) -- 75.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Carracosta: 102-121 (28.9 - 34.3%) -- 99.7% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Stoutland Return vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Carracosta: 50-59 (14.2 - 16.7%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Stoutland Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Carracosta: 68-81 (19.3 - 23%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Stoutland Superpower vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Solid Rock Carracosta: 118-139 (33.5 - 39.4%) -- 17.4% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Carracosta Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Stoutland: 81-96 (26 - 30.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
0 Atk Carracosta Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 81-96 (26 - 30.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Gunk Shot

Primeape is a check towards Stoutland. It doesn't switch in (wtf switches into stout in 2k19 omegalul) but lets say, Stout kills something, ape just comes in and threatens it with a super-effective Close Combat, which always kills it.

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Adamant Nature
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 212 Def
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
- Bulk Up

Gurdurr is a solid Stout check. To start with, this specific spread was made to kill Stoutland which is perfect for this. 252 HP / 212 Def is to live all of Stoutland's attacks. Then Gurdurr can simply hit back with a Drain Punch and a Mach Punch to finish it off. EZ PZ.

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 252 HP / 212 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 148-175 (39.5 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
44+ Atk Gurdurr Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 210-248 (67.5 - 79.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
44+ Atk Gurdurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 114-134 (36.6 - 43%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
thanks for coming stout :D

Thanks for reading!

Regirock @ Chople Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Drain Punch
- Toxic

Chople Regirock is the closest mon I’d consider to counter Stoutland. Regirock can absorb a Superpower from Stoutland pretty easily with a Chople Berry and then do significant damage back to it with Drain Punch. Stoutland obviously still loses if it clicks Return or Pursuit so Regirock can now reliably handle Stoutland with this set.

Edit: Oathkeepre I changed the set since it wasn't the most optimal to countering Stoutland so is that ok?

This is fine yes. You reserved the mon therefore do what you will with the set. I will determine if it works or not. In this case it does! So you're good here.

Metang @ Eviolite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
Check:
✦ Metang can switch in to all of the attacks from Stoutland and win a 1v1.
✦ Return does a max of 23.4% while Metang does a max of 35% with Meteor Mash.
✦ Superpower makes it a definite losing battle for Stoutland with all the ATK and DEF drops.
✦ Metang forces Stoutland to switch out so Toxic or Stealth Rocks are free plays.

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Toxic

I’m submitting Carbink as a counter cus I got Iron Head nuked off the example set:psysly:. Carbink is capable of switching into any hit, including Superpower, and outlasting Stoutland through Moonblast+Protect+Leftovers (and Toxic if you opt to go for it).

Mawile @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Play Rough
- Super Fang
- Knock Off

Mawile is a counter to Stoutland. It lowers Stout's Attack on the switch with Intimidate and easily takes anything Stout can dish out while damaging it with Rocky Helmet. Mawile can chunk Stout with Super Fang and Play Rough and neuter it with Knock Off.

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 102-121 (33.5 - 39.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 Atk Mawile Play Rough vs. -1 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 139-165 (44.6 - 53%) -- 25.8% chance to 2HKO

Aggron @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Heavy Slam
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake

Aggron is a solid check to Stoutland.
While it can't switch into Superpower, it can come into a Stoutland locked into Return and threaten an extremely powerful Head Smash, which happens to be able to 2HKO most of the tier right now (Gastrodon and Quagsire in particular are 2HKOd if they're max SpDef, which I'm seeing more and more now thanks to Houndoom).
Not only can it come in after Return has been scouted/a Pokémon has died to Stoutland, but its presence alone forces Stoutland into a 50/50 where it feels uncomfortable clicking its best move due to the chance of a ballsier player sending out this big boy on it.

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Aggron: 36-43 (12.8 - 15.3%) -- possible 7HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 312-367 (100.3 - 118%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Head Smash vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 390-459 (125.4 - 147.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Dodrio @ Choice Band
Jolly Nature
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Brave Bird
- Return
- Jump Kick
- Knock Off

Hi again, since I cant read and posted Bronzor which is Blacklisted I still wanted to post something so I am going to try submitting something else. Therefore my submission is CB Dodrio as a check to Stoutland.

Although one of the more uncommon sets on Dodrio since people tend to use Z or Scarf, this set guarantees to deal with Stoutland and from personal experience is very good. Although it can never tank a hit, if you safely switch Dodrio in it will take out Stoutland.

This is the calcs:

252 Atk Choice Band Dodrio Jump Kick vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 316-374 (101.6 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Dodrio Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 285-336 (91.6 - 108%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Return can also do the job but requires a bit more chip:
252 Atk Choice Band Dodrio Return vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 241-285 (77.4 - 91.6%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Mudsdale @ Choice Band
Ability: Stamina
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Slide
- Close Combat

Banded Mudsdale checks Stout, can switch into most of it's attacks fine thanks to Stamina but get's 2HKO'd by Return and maybe Superpower if they get a super high roll. Close Combat also OHKOs. Also hi

Calcs:
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Mudsdale: 244-288 (65.2 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. +1 132 HP / 0 Def Mudsdale: 163-193 (43.5 - 51.6%) -- 9.4% chance to 2HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Mudsdale: 192-226 (51.3 - 60.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. +1 132 HP / 0 Def Mudsdale: 128-151 (34.2 - 40.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Mudsdale Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 454-536 (145.9 - 172.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Lycanroc @ Lycanium Z
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Drill Run
- Accelerock
- Swords Dance

Check. While Lycanroc cannot come in on a Superpower, it can come in on at most 1 Return/Frustration:

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lycanroc: 172-203 (59.1 - 69.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

and then outspeed and practically OHKO right back with Stormshards:

252 Atk Lycanroc Splintered Stormshards vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Stoutland: 309-364 (99.3 - 117%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
