Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.

Good on the Syndicate for trying to mix some things up to bring back their tour but there's a clear favorite here

SV PU: Chaos23333 vs Platum - One of the highlights of the week, I think Platum has been more consistently strong but this should be good
SV PU: shuixin vs Axzel - two ppl for whom I don't really know what the expectations should be, but I think it more likely that shuixin brings something with a good matchup
SV PU: asa vs xsus - I want to believe it's possible for us 0-3ers to bounce back but I'm not gonna predict it either
SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Shaneghoul - whatever I said about him finding his footing after early g1 w1 seems to be true
SM PU: sugar ovens vs OranBerryBlissey10 - bo3's been rough but I don't think going into sm to play sugar is like, a better path or anything. Wouldn't be surprised if the slots are back next week
ORAS PU: Kafkafka vs crow crumbs - I think both are capable of a lot better than what we've gotten this pl so far, but at current trajectories kafka's definitely looking better
BW PU: Cielau vs Tizio - only win being over sky is a bonkers trajectory. Tizio had a cool win last week and I think he might catch Cielau off guard
DPP PU: Lazuli vs sychillz - 2-1 > 0-1 I suppose, sy's loss was respectable but not much to start pushing for them either
ADV PU: Parpar vs Quarante8 - tied for top of the pool and unless it's vs Aurist I'm gonna have a hard time not bolding Parpar
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Metallica126 vs DD Joe - Respectable 1-2 in this pool vs ??? not sure what to expect. At least they're both weaker in SS, a doable first matchup for joe all things considered, but definitely uphill

Haunters are pretty solidly best team right now but in this configuration it'd take very little for to flip an important game or two and get a massive win/tie for the laxes. If they can get a point or two vs the Haunters, the back end of the tour gets a lot more interesting

SV PU: MichaelderBeste2 vs Scarf Kricketune - SK is having the better tour right now but I don't think they have a win of this caliber yet period
SV PU: Diamonds_realm vs Xiri - Might be pulling this out of my ass but looking at teams from the last few weeks I think the type of stuff diamonds is gravitating towards might give the type of extremely polarizing teams xiri makes a bit of a headache. They're also undefeated rn though so realistically it's their game to lose, I just sorta have a feeling
SV PU: brick vs big tony 2014 - I do not have a feeling here. Tony stronk. Even Tony's extremely lucky win last week was the "haha you don't get to play" type and not "wow he just robbed something he never should've won" type.
SS PU: Spitfire vs Nuxl - Better history better wins
SM PU: Terracotta vs Hacker - Terra keeps being pretty close to winning games but idk Hacker's doing fine and Terra isn't so yeah
ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs feen - gonna put the prediction on better vs luckier
BW PU: Accel vs Bughouse - Not particularly hot on either rn, feels 50/50
DPP PU: SFG vs Heysup - more impressive 3-0 but they are still both 3-0 so I suppose this is a highlight for the dpp lovers out there
ADV PU: mint yerb vs mielke - I still don't really know who mint yerb is but their username is growing on me
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Ainzcrad vs xcx - Lowkey highlight of the week but I still bold xcx 10 times out of 10

Based on the sheet the Zoroarks should be the clear favorites here but I don't think the individual matchups look too bad for the KINGPINS at all, just seems more likely that their overall team cohesion leads to one to three of these games flipping for the Zoroarks given how other weeks have gone

SV PU: Leni vs Colin - Equal record, Leni has better wins for his time, but also I kinda get the vibe again that the stuff Leni likes to use might not be what Colin's teams want to fight
SV PU: Django vs VyoletRayn - Guess we're bolding Vy now. Their SV debut has gone a lot better than Django's but when you get old enough bad records kinda fade away
SV PU: evakiyama! vs seraphz - I know the KINGPINS already have Plague but please find a way to get eva back into ADV they're way more hype there
SS PU: SEROO vs Ming549 - Guess I also gotta be bolding Ming now. Weird pool
SM PU: robjr vs Estarossa - Last highlight, rob stocks are still way up
ORAS PU: Greybaum vs BluBirD - Grey's my goat but I don't think they're at full power yet. Maybe now that the OMPL season is basically over they can pull something out
BW PU: sky vs EviGaro
DPP PU: LBN vs jyusaan - Apparently I need to learn who jyusaan is asap because they're 3-0 and the KINGPINS had to sub out their slot. Looks dire but LBN's kinda good sometimes
ADV PU: Plague vs ASKOV - I mean yeah
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): DugZa vs Thiago Nunes - Ok nvm this is the last highlight. I know a thing or two about Doug's prep and I kind of like it into Thiago but we'll see, they've both been pretty good so far

Pokestar Pranksters (2) vs (3) Malignant Chain Snatchers
SS PU: Taka vs Meri Berry - the ss bug has not clicked with taka yet and while meri has also had a bit of shaky szn so far the experience gap is immense
ORAS PU: LB vs lighthouses - i like the way lighthouses been moving so far, beyond getting sauced by the blub cook w2 he bounced back looking dominant with the chatot masterclass last week
BW PU: TyCarter vs Tack - bw pu
DPP PU: blittius vs Baddy - i am convinced the pranksters are just pulling dppers out of a hat now
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Drud vs Lana - surprisingly slow start for drud to start the season AND lana has had a pretty good debut in this slot BUT... its still drud clear cut to me im not willing to write him off just yet, still an all time great pu player, still probably my pick as strongest bo3 in the tour

Rising Sandstorm (3) vs (2) Dry Skin Syndicate
SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Shaneghoul - shanes games have looked quite good and im still not totally sold on the memphis slot i think this should be an easy favor for the grandpa
ORAS PU: Kafkafka vs crow crumbs - both these teams have been turbo struggling to get some motion going in oras this tour so this will be a pretty important week to generate momentum for these guys, esp the dry skins who have had an overall less than stellar szn, and since crow crumbs is my fellow cap enjoyer he will be getting the nod
BW PU: Cielau vs Tizio - bw pu
DPP PU: Lazuli vs sychillz - Lazuli we were so close to greatness... as a consolation u can have my blessing for a dpp pu win this week...
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Metallica126 vs DD Joe - is he dd joe bc hes the dd joat or is he the dd joat bc hes dd joe? metallica has rallied his team after their week 1 debacle and are looking more like the mega threats the pr predicted them to be, i think hes got a bit of good motion on his side so will give him the nod

SS PU: Spitfire vs Nuxl - like what do u want me to say thats mr ss pu
ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs feen - i dont think feen would get 6-0d by chatot again but u never know... also pix has just looked turbo strong this tour, real inspiring stuff
BW PU: Accel vs Bughouse - bw pu
DPP PU: SFG vs Heysup - 3-0 vs 3-0 but not all 3-0s are built the same and heysup is a substiantial jump in the calibur of player sfg has games vs thus far, heysup is also bringing sets ur average person cant pronounce like scarf lead solrock which will for sure be dealing immense psychic damage
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Ainzcrad vs xcx - one day perhaps i will see the promised adv gum... until then i think theyre a stronger player in general compared to ainz but really has a pretty substantial gap in tier knowledge in some pretty heavily tier knowledge dependent tiers so i dont see a reason not to bold
 
SS PU: Taka vs Meri Berry : Meri is for sure more at ease in this tier than Taka who seems to be struggling a bit in this tour
SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Shaneghoul : Shane showed he stills has it and while Memphis did play a good amount of games in this tier, I don't think he faced this level of player in SS PU before. After a whole PUPL in SS PU I think he'll become a pillar of this tier but he's not there yet
SS PU: Spitfire vs Nuxl : Nuxl has been pretty good + has amazing support, and I wonder how Spitfire will get teams this week as his main provider is on the opposing team, maybe he'll dm all the other contestants for help like last year but i don't think it'll be enough (maybe he'll get Nuxl to sub out one way or another tho ?)
SS PU: SEROO vs Ming549 : pretty cool and balanced match up imo, i'll maybe give the edge to ming for the experience but it could go either way, especially if seroo has support from bloshh
