Despite being the fastest Fire-type NU has to offer, Pyroar has failed to make an impression on the metagame due to its poor non-STAB coverage options and minimal defensive utility. Against Pokemon such as Slowbro, Diancie, and Rhydon, Pyroar has to rely on Grassium Z + Solar Beam, whereas other Fire-types have more consistent coverage that can wear down their checks more easily. For reference, Incineroar OHKOes both of them after a Swords Dance boost with either Knock Off or Tectonic Rage, and Magmortar OHKOes Slowbro with Thunderbolt-based Gigavolt Havoc, all after Stealth Rock. Bad bulk and a bad defensive typing dissuade it from ever directly switching into anything other than Ghost attacks, whereas Incineroar and Magmortar have Intimidate and a secondary Dark typing for the former and a high Special Defense stat for the latter. We're not lion, Pyroar struggles to distinguish itself from the plethora of other Fire-types NU has to choose from.

Pyroar aims to lure in typical Fire-type checks such as Diancie and Assault Vest Slowbro and OHKO them after Stealth Rock, as well as to utilize its unique base 106 Speed tier to outspeed Pokemon such as Mismagius, Cryogonal, and Rotom and OHKO them too. Pyroar should be careful not to waste its all-important Grassium Z, as it heavily relies on said item to break through checks such as Diancie. Taunt is useful for shutting down non-attacking moves such as Diancie's Stealth Rock and Heal Bell, and Breakneck Blitz breaks through Pokemon such as Incineroar and Druddigon it wouldn't be able to get through otherwise. However, Pyroar still struggles to differentiate itself enough from other Fire-types such as Incineroar and Delphox.

because this is a pseudo I'm gonna check it different

Overview:
  1. When addressing Incineroar, talk more about its Swords Dance set (and I mean like, Z-Move Incineroar). It's arguably the best wallbreaker in the tier and only really behind Heliolisk if I have to pick one.
Set
  1. tbh Grassium (and as a result Solar Beam) should probably get the first slashes in their spots because they're the only way Pyroar can meaningfully threaten fat Water- and Rock-types like Slowbro and Diancie.
Set comments:
  1. Replace Silvally-Steel and Vanilluxe with faster Pokemon that Magmortar and Incineroar cannot outspeed to put better emphasis on Pyroar's Speed tier.
  2. Consider replacing Type: Null for a different mention like Slowking, as you can at least Taunt it as it switches in.
qc 1/2

oh and to add on to that check: in set comments I could definitely see you going back to Incineroar and Magmortar and addressing how they not only bypass traditional Fire-type checks more effectively, but also find more opportunities to switch in due to their better bulk and defensive typing (mono Fire SUCKS, but at least doesn't make it easily revenge killed by Passimian soooo :blobshrug:)

Despite being the fastest Fire-type NU has to offer, Pyroar has failed to make an impression on the metagame due to its poor non-STAB coverage options and minimal defensive utility. Pyroar's best options against typical Fire-type checks such as Assault Vest Slowbro and Diancie is Hidden Power Grass, which only manages to 4HKO and 5HKO them, respectively. This is not a good sentence, as Z-Grass is on the analysis. Comparatively, Incineroar at +2 Attack OHKOs both of them with either Knock Off or Z-Earthquake and Magmortar OHKOs Slowbro with Z-Thunderbolt, all after Stealth Rock. Pyroar also has a near useless ability compared to Incineroar's Intimidate and Magmortar's Vital Spirit, and its even worse bulk and defensive typing dissuades it from ever directly switching in. We're not lion, Pyroar struggles to distinguish itself from the plethora of other Fire-types NU has to choose from.

Pyroar's best attempt to distinguish itself from its Fire-type brethren is to utilize its unique base 106 Speed tier to outspeed Pokemon such as Mismagius, Cryognal, and Rotom-N and threaten to OHKO them. However, all Pyroar ever really does is invite specially bulky Fire-resists and walls such as Diancie, Vaporeon, and Slowking to switch in and force Pyroar out, losing all momentum for the user.

Rewrite this to focus more on Grassium-Z, as while its the first option the analysis doesn't really even mention it.

I didn't stamp this: will edit in a QC check once I've talked to some people about this, don't upload in the meantime.

Edit: Edited in QC check.

Pyroar's best options against typical Fire-type checks such as Assault Vest Slowbro and Diancie is Solar Beam + Grassium Z, which fails to OHKO either of them from full HP and can only be utilized once.
Reword this, emphasize that it can only touch stuff like Bro/Rhydon/Diancie with Z-move, whereas other fire-types don't need that. For reference, Incineroar OHKOes both of them after a Swords Dance boost with either Knock Off or Tectonic Rage, and Magmortar OHKOes Slowbro with Thunderbolt-based Gigavolt Havoc, all after Stealth Rock. Pyroar also has a near-useless ability compared to Incineroar's Intimidate and Magmortar's Vital Spirit, and its even worse Ability mention isn't super relevant Bad bulk and a bad defensive typing dissuade it from ever directly switching in on anything other than Ghost attacks, whereas Incin and Mortar.... We're not lion, Pyroar struggles to distinguish itself from the plethora of other Fire-types NU has to choose from.

What does this set do? I.E. It aims to lure in typical fire-type checks such as Rhydon and Assault Vest Slowbro and OHKO them (though bro only with rocks). Why is Taunt here. Also give a very short summary of what Norm-Z does. Ability Mention here. However, all Pyroar ever really does is invite specially bulky Fire-resistant Pokemon and walls such as Diancie, Vaporeon, and Slowking to switch in and force Pyroar out, losing all momentum for the user. This sentence is rather over-exaggerated, simply emphasize that it struggles to out-do competing fire-types like Delphox and Mortar.

I'd like this reworded a tad to emphasize that the two can wear down their checks easily with coverage, and still OHKO with z-moves, which pyroar has more trouble doing. Bad bulk and a bad defensive typing dissuade it from ever directly switching into anything other than Ghost attacks, whereas Incineroar and Magmortar have Intimidate, secondary Dark typing, and a high Special Defense stat, respectively.
