QC Round 3- Seven Deadly Sins

Life Orb really doesn't need it's own set, because, like SDS said, it really is outclassed by Aerodactyl.

How does this make Life Orb Crobat less viable? There are cases in teambuilding when you need Crobat's 4Xs fighting resistance more than you need Aerodactyl's Fire resistance. I'm just pointing out LO Crobat can revenge kill with the same efficiency as Aerodactyl, it all depends on what OTHER roles it can fulfill to fit your team better. For example, things like Celebi, Breloom, and Shaymin are everywhere now, and LO Crobat you may want to revenge kill things AND be able to threaten those 3 pokemon. If your team needs that niche, why should the set be omitted? This is why some of us stress the "outclass" argument because while two pokemon may have a similar "role" they may have additional pros in cons to their use on said team.

So what you're suggesting is that Honchkrow should get a bad set with no Sucker Punch, no Brave Bird and Steel Wing as the primary option over Superpower which causes Honchkrow to be walled by every Steel-type ever just because you get insanely lucky? Your other reasonings don't make sense either. Not switching in Honchkrow mid-battle means not switching him in at all and Honchkrow will still be outsped by a lot of stuff regardless of how many Speed EVs it has. The fact that you lack Sucker Punch doesn't help this either. So in conclusion, I think your set is terrible.

Sure, I didn't put in Sucker Punch, but it doing damage is as reliable as Night Slash getting a critical hit. I've actually used Hochkrow like this (I didn't want be a loser and just copy someone else's set) and he is a beast. Sure, he's pretty slow, and can be outsped by fairly fast pokemon. If you really wanted, you could put in Superpower, the key move is Night Slash anyway. Hell, you could put in Sucker Punch too. The only real advantage is going first. I use this set because you don't have to be Super Effective to get OHKO's. Super Luck and Scope Lens make getting criticals with other moves possible too. So, in conclusion, don't get your knickers in a twist, I was just saying how I got Honchkrow to be a worthwhile choice. There is more to battling than theory.
