Hello and welcome to my Overused Heavy Offense team, It is based on the Norse Mythology and Gods. Obviously, since my team is heavy offense, the point of my team is to kill the opponent before they can kill me, nothing else.
Heimdall (Azelf) @ Colbur Berry Trait: Levitate
EVs: 8 HP / 140 Atk / 216 Spd / 144 SDef
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Explosion
The standard Colbur Berry Azelf lead. The reason why i chose it over the sashed lead, is it can cover much more leads then the other one if used correctly. Stealth rock and Taunt don't need explaining, with U-turn to escape if explosion isn't favorable, and explosion to go out in a blaze of glory, hopefully taking the opponent with me.
Loki (Infernape) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 192 Spd / 64 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Overheat
Originally a T-tar, (which i switched for its unfavorable sandstorm) Loki is one of my many sweepers and scouters, he normally gets alot of time early game, as he can take down alot of the leads troubling azelf. Nothing really special about the moveset as its standard mix-ape.
Frey (Suicune) @ Leftovers Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Spd / 152 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Yes, Crocune on a HO team, and no, I am not on drugs. Even though hes more of a tank, after a calm mind or two, he is deadly, and the fact he can last long is even more helpful. I have to use him early game or late game, because the momentem will be broken, which is bad for a Heavy offense team.
Weavile (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Pursuit
- Low Kick
- Ice Punch
Scizor was mostly dead weight on my team, so I decided to switch him with Weavile, and i hope he is better. As you probably have guessed, this is my revenge killer, Ice shard is for the priority and helps get rid of unbulky dragons and weakened sweepers, Pursuit is good for ghosts and predicting switch-outs, while Low kick hopefully may help against my swampert problem. Since this is a revenge killer, I don't really like his SR weakness.
Odin (Salamence) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Roost
My main mid-game sweeper, you bring him in, DD on the switch, and if its a steel type, or a type weak to ground, you kill them with earthquake, otherwise rain hell on them with Outrage. The reason why i used Outrage over Dragon claw, is that Outrage will almost always kill anything that doesn't resist it, while dragon claw misses some KO's.
Hel (Gengar) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Almost every team I have ever had has had this Gengar set, even though this is the first one where he is a sweeper, instead of a revenge killer. With HP fire instead of substitute is that it does wonders on any scizor hoping to pursuit me.
I'm having alot of trouble killing swampert on this team, and priority can rip holes into this team.
