Rare Candies

I have a level 62 Ambipom with the ability pick up and I was wondering how i would be able to get rare candies quickly i am in need of 99 for Iv breeding and I was wondering how to get them. I also know that you can buy them for 48BP at the battle Tower but as I suck at that I dont really have a choice but I was hoping how you guys could help me find a quicker way
 
99 is quite a few... If you have Emerald, you can just use the cloning glitch to get boxes full of them.

If you don't have Emerald, I would try to find someone with an Action Replay here who would be willing to give you a few a day or something.
 
yeah i dont have wifi at the moment but i was just wanting to find 99 so i could do some good breeding without having to do iv battles
 
you don't need 99 to do breeding. 15-20 or so with metalkid's calculator will give you a pretty good idea of where your numbers are.
 
I agree with Fenikkusu, 99 is way over the top, although I'd go for 25-30, as that's how many it generally takes to be sure of every IV exactly(and with a few added just in case), the easiest way assuming you can get Wifi would be to trade for them(you can probably find someone with Emerald who's willing to offload them cheaply) or get your Ambipom cloned and go mad with pickup. If you can't just carry Ambipom around whenever you do any EV training or leveling(perhaps carry him around while leveling more Pick up pokes, I haven't bothered with Pick up but that should work pretty well).
 
Before I knew about the cloning glitch, I trained 6 level 41 linoone and went around beating random wild pokemon. I got around 20 rare candies that way. Not recommended.

@Loetke: Just to be clear, when you refer to the cloning glitch, you mean the pokemon cloning glitch in the battle tower right? Just making sure that I'm not missing out on some better way to clone items....
 
damn i owuld hook you up but neither of us have wi-fi just biy a AR dude their only 25 bucks and they kick ass
 
i would get about 25 candies, liek everyone says, and a kecleon. just rare cany up, and if you still dont know the IVs exactly, go into a double battle with keccles and use hidden power.


if thats still not enough, IV battles are your friend, and are generally quicker then 99 rare candies.
 
if you really want the rare candies, EV train with a team of lvl 100 linoones w/ pickup. you'll be getting to much crap (literally). Full restores, ultra balls, max elixirs, leftovers, stones, rare candies, etc.

wait, why ev train them? just level them up.
