Kush (Charizard) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 96 HP/162 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Overheat
My lead. He actually outspeeds and OHKOs a lot of common starters, including but not limited to, Weavile, Azelf, Gengar, Yanmega and Ninjask, among other things.
Dank (Blastoise) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/106 SAtk/152 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rest
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Surf
Fairly potent tank, but probably because he's underestimated often. I'm not sure if I want to go with Aqua Tail or Waterfall. The low PP of Aqua Tail has actually gotten in my way often.
Herb (Venusaur) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP/6 Spd/252 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
Standard. Sleep Powder then Leech Seed on the switch. If they didn't switch, they will when they see the Leech Seed so toss another their way. *I replaced Leaf Storm with Sludge bomb so that I'll atleast have something to hit other grass types with. Is it really that bad?
Seed (Gengar) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
Standard beastly Gengar, as usual.
Stem (Alakazam) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast
- Psychic
- Grass Knot
I think this guy could use some revision as far as the move pool goes. I don't really like his type-coverage and 3 Focus Blasts seems unnecessary.
Munchies (Snorlax) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 140 HP/116 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Whirlwind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Completely changed up the Snorlax build. Doesn't have anything to hit ghosts with but it's usually not too much of a problem. Maybe I should go with Crunch or EQ instead of Body Slam?
Yeah, I know it's not optimal. This is my "fun" team, but I've taken down quite a few teams with it. I guess I could replace Snorlax with a Dragonite or Gyarados or some other heavily advertised Pokemon, but yeah, I kinda want to keep the other core 5 members in tact.
