XY OU Rate My Team :D

I am not very good at making teams. This is one of my first, and I really want to see how to make it better!
I have noticed that Fairy types demolish my team. Anything with protect (Minus my beautiful Trevenant <3) and a toxic will demolish my team. Fire types destroy my team.

Pretty much I have huge holes that I am not exactly sure how to fix. I am willing to make any changes that you might suggest :) And am open to any and all tips that you may have when building future teams.

Trevenant @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Confuse Ray
- Phantom Force
- Focus Blast
- Destiny Bond

I am not exactly sure what I was doing here. I just played a similar set up in Randoms, and thought he would make a great addition to the team. His ability to use Destiny Bond was also attractive, because I could set him up to fail against one of the stronger Pokemon (Bisharp...) and take him out with me. To do this effectively I should probably alter the EVs to a higher speed, but I digress.

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Toxic

I attempted to make a wall. I am not exactly sure if he is the most effective considering his type. I mean a fire type would demolish him. However, as a regenerator, I could put a status effect on my opponent, and still recover health when I switch out to a more offensive Pokemon.

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Gentle Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Earthquake
- Shadow Ball

I also used this Pokemon in Randoms, and found him to be a great wall there, but in this team he isn't quite working out. He gets quickly demolished before I can set up R/LS. I usually start with him to give a little protection to my other Pokemon before they set out.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Focus Blast
- Seed Bomb
- Spore

I have always enjoyed playing with this Pokemon w/similar move set in Randoms, and he works quite well. HOWEVER when I come up against a Pokemon like Bisharp or certain fairy types, he dies instantly in this team set up. He is usually the third Pokemon I send out. With Spore, he can put out another status effect on stronger Pokemon, and either switch out for a better type advantage, or just demolish the team.

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Air Slash
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

All teams need a mega right? I found Charizard to be useful against grass, steel (Bisharp), and similar. I am willing to change him out for a better suggestion.

Slowking @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Psychic
I liked Slowkings Regenerate ability. He also filled a type hole, and was a great second to my first choice greninja (he is now banned from OU). Again, I am not very good at making teams yet, so I can understand how this entire team could be cringe worthy.

I'm not particularly great at team building, I'm just new to the whole scene myself so take my advice with a grain of salt but if you're having trouble with Fire types would say a Gyarados and something else with Stealth rocks not do you some good? The stealth rocks will do some decent damage to them and break any endures they have (afaik) which will make them easier to take out with a bulky water type that they can't damage. You could also add the two together and get say a Tyranitar who can set up rocks and also Earthquake away any threats to the rest of your team while also giving you a strong Dark STAB with Crunch to help with Ghosts and psychic types as you don't have much else to deal with them. I dunno if they're a common threat in OU but it could be nice to have a solid answer to them anyways, no?

First of all, you have 3 grass types. 3 grass types isn't exactly a good thing, considering the amount of weaknesses grass types have. And also, if you keep breloom, don't run Focus Blast. It has a much more higher physical attack stat. So I suggest running:

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb/Swords Dance

Breloom is a great lead with Spore. With Sash, it can live at least one hit if you're a lead and then you spore, (unless they're a grass type of course) With it's ability Technician, It can make use out of Mach punch, Bullet Seed and Rock Tomb as they are all 60 base power or below. And STAB boosted Mach Punch and Bullet Seed hurts. You can replace Rock Tomb with Swords Dance so you can sweep/clean more with Loom.
Or you can run:

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Atk / 168 SpDef
Nature: Adamant
- Leech Seed
- Spore
- Drain Punch
- Protect

This Breloom set has a more defensive approach to it. Leech Seed is a good move for adding health along with Poison Heal. On the topic of health boosting, STAB Drain Punch from Breloom is really useful for health boosting as well. I ran 96+ EVs into Physical Attack to have a guranteed OHKO with more mons, like Excadrill. Then Spore cause yannoe: why wouldn't you? Then finally, Protect for scouting moves.

Yeah, I would run something Like Heatran/Zapdos/Rotom-Wash to counter Talonflame since your team just dies to it. Slowking is cool, but Slowbro is much better since it gets Regenerator too. Run this set.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Sp Atk
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off

Don't run EQ and Rock Slide on Charizard Y. Replace it with something like Dragon Pulse, Ancient Power, or Solarbeam.

Go with the above set of Breloom. (The First One.)

Run 0 Spe IVs on Bronzong w/ a Sassy Nature and replace Shadow Ball w/ Gyro Ball to deal with Fairies easier.

Hope it helps :>

I agree on all the suggestions before me. However, I think that another grass type needs some changing too. Seeing that you have 3 pokemon weak to ghost and dark, I would switch trevenant/tangrowth out for perhaps a bulky dark or normal type. Tyranitar seems to fit the bill due to the fact that it provides rocks, and shrugs off hits from mega manectric fairly well. His typing also synergizes nicely with your team. Sandstorm may get in the way with your team, but most of them have a way to get around it.

I would recommend:
Tyranitar Leftovers
Impish / Relaxed Nature
Sand Stream
248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spdef
-Stealth Rock
-Crunch
-Ice Beam / Stone Edge
-Earthquake / Fire Blast

This is the support set from smogon. The last 2 moves depend on which pokemon you want out of the picture. Ice beam on a predicted gliscor/landorus switch in. Stone edge is your strongest overall option. Earthquake I would choose over fire blast to handle the mentioned mega manectric. However fire blast could be used if your mega isn't around to deal with ferrothorn.

Hope this helped, and good luck!
