Next Monday, myself and my lovely co-leader IronBullet93 will be hosting a rating workshop in the section's dedicated IRC channel, #ratemyteam.

We'll be rating teams for a few hours, discussing possible changes and hopefully helping as many people as we can. The tier we'll be doing this time will be ORAS UU. You are welcome to come participate if you'd like to.

The time we set is 4 PM Eastern.

You can post the teams you want rated in this thread! We'll pick a few of them and post the recommended changes in this thread.
 
Hi Im a new UU player and I would love it if you could rate my team.

(Im running Entei > Honchkrow btw but I havnt had the time to change it on the rmt!)

I got to around 1650 but I feel like its missing the finishing touch and the rank doesnt always equate to a good team.

alright, we've rated 2 teams this time around. Big thanks to Sam Bouffalant and Enki for helping out!

We mostly tried to fix an issue with Mega Aerodactyl, Scald users, and Florges.
  • Taunt on Azelf to have a better hazard control.
  • Offensive Stealth Rock Empoleon over Honchkrow / Entei to take Scalds and help deal with Mega Aerodactyl, alongside other stuff.
  • Drill Run Mega Beedrill over Mega Absol to take advantage of Florges. Drill Run helps break Nidos for the sweepers to have an easier job.

Our main focus was the Chandelure weakness. Unfortunately we haven't really found a real fix other than adding Pursuit on Mega Aerodactyl. We've had a few ideas though, that you may want to consider, but they open up other weaknesses so they'd require other changes:
  • Curselax or Porygon2 over one of Cresselia or Suicune (opens up a Suicune or Lucario weakness)
  • Choice Scarf Krookodile over Mega Aerodactyl (opens up a Mega Pidgeot weakness)

Next time around we'll probably be doing another tier. Stay tuned!
