Welcome to the fifth edition of RBYPL!
Our format for this year is as follows:
13 minimum players and 130k credits.
Tiers:

• RBY OU (Best of 5)
• RBY OU
• RBY OU
• RBY OU
• RBY OU
• RBY Ubers
• RBY UU (Best of 5)
• RBY NU (Best of 5)
• RBY PU (Best of 5)
• RBY Random Battles (Best of 5)

On retains and self-buys

• You are allowed up to 3 manager self-buys and retains total.
• This is the cost it will take to retain the player.
  • Retain Price: The higher of 10k or +3k from your price last year (+6k if you were retained in RBYPL IV, +9k if you were retained in RBYPL IV and RBYPL III, +12 if you were retained in RBYPL IV, RBYPL III, and RBYPL II).

RBYPL IV was my first team tournament ever and it was honestly an incredible experience! If you're even slightly interested in playing RBY, I'd highly recommend signing up this year. You'll be able to learn from the best of the best and 10 slots means that there's a decent chance you'll get to play even if you aren't a veteran in the scene.

RBYPL XII was my first team tournament (wait I've never been in a real team tour :skull: ever and it was honestly a nonexistent experience. If you're even slightly interested in playing RBY, I'd highly recommend not signing up this year (so I have less competition). You won’t learn shit and despite there being 10 slots you will 100% get to play since you are a tryhard veteran haxin the scene.

(Also make sure to not not draft me ; without plot armor i do not achieve anything at all but like main character syndrome anyone?)

Re: Format

Based on player signups and manager discussion, RBYPL V will have 10 slots, and RBY UU, RBY NU, and RBY PU will be Best of 5.

Additionally, all teams must draft 10 Starters + 3 Substitutes with 130 starting credits. This has been increased from a mandatory 10 Starters + 2 Substitutes with 120 starting credits.
