We have confirmed that there will be eight teams and ten slots. Slots are Bo3 unless otherwise stated.

For this edition of RBYPL, we have decided on Bo3 as the default for UU, NU, and PU.

Hiya! Although ive never played rby in tournament before, and the only tier i've ever played prior is RBY 8U, Im really passionate about the game and will be the best cheerleader ever!

Results:
- Beat Doydos on ladder
- 1245 elo peak!!!
- 5 Minute time on a discord server ban speedrun
- 5 Teams built!!!

Thank you for considering me in your draft plans and i cant wait to meet my new teammates when the tournament starts ^-^
 
Heyo, I'm Ryzzan, one of the newer RBY players in the community. Despite this little time I've been here, I've beat some major players such as Teh and Buttgallon, and went 2-2 in PUFF (and thats counting the game 3 vs PHB where I got last sec frozen). Aswell as this, even early on I made a deep run in the gen 1 rands open and I'm always open to run new tiers as long as I am given a chance! So yeah, that's why you should consider me for your draft plans, as a cheap but improving player who can lock in when I play PU or maybe even another tier.
 
Hi, i am Melanie. I want to finally make a name out of myself in the community. I am not afraid or doubtful anymore and seek the guidance and cooperation of good people to become someone i can be proud of. I will gladly help anyone in need and do my best to help the hypothetical team that would get me do better in return. Any time i don't have to devote to classes or my family will be yours. I can adapt to what you need me to play if the tools are there, my aim is to understand the game beyond this and that and what tier and be able to play well.

I am Nick, I am fairly new to the RBY scene having only began in January of this year. I would consider myself to be talented within the categories of RBY OU and randoms. My greatest feat to date was beating "wooooo rby" when they had 1557 elo earlier this year on my previous account (banned for having an inappropriate word in the username). The highest elo I had for OU was ~1450 and for randoms was ~1330. I appreciate you for considering me for your draft plans. I also will be grinding out this account over the coming weeks to hopefully reach even higher than before.

If you can reach 1600 on the RBY OU ladder with a minimum GXE of 85% I promise that I will draft and start you in OU. Post proof in this thread.

Bedal Roscoe here, some players know me, other don't (And I understand lol, my Smogon trophy room is more virgin than Ash Ketchum)

After a great 2024 season with the Wartortles, I missed last PL last year so I'm really motivated to warm the bench this year... I mean participate and win the best team tour of the season (after RBY Wcup).
 
Hey guys. So I'm new-ish to RBY. I imagine my odds of getting drafted are not too high so I'll post some cringe stats in the hope someone takes a gamble on me.
- Best RBY OU ladder peak 3rd with 1610 ELO.
- I've played a few Pokemon perfect tournaments for RBY OU. I've recently lost to Krystal 3-2, so I'm at least competitive in tournament games vs good players.
- Among the formats, I only have experience in OU, but with ~half a weeks notice I'm happy to learn any other tier too. I had never played a game of nc97 before and went 8-3 in the group stage of Shane's nc1997 tournament a couple days ago.
- I think I'd really enjoy RBY in a team format. I spend a lot of time prepping teams and I like talking about the game. Still got a lot to learn
