arcanine.png

Vitamin R (Arcanine) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 SAtk
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Extremespeed
- Flare Blitz
- Thunder Fang
- Overheat

First off, not only do I have a special place in my heart for Arcanine, but he also acts as one of the most badass Scizor counters around. Switches in to X-Scissor, Bullet Punch, or SD, and easily OHKO'ing back with Flare Blitz/Overheat, while Scizor is stuck using Intimidated and resisted moves. With Band, he takes out many common leads. Extremespeed is a 2KO on suicide Azelf leads, meaning they can't explode or damage me, Flare Blitz/Overheat kills Zong, Skarmory, Forretress, and Scizor with little to worry about.

lanturn.png

Shimmer (Lanturn) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 42 HP/80 Spd/136 SAtk/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Surf

Who needs Blissey if you resist four of the most common Special attacks in the metagame? A great Heatran counter, since Fire Blast and HP Ice do laughable damage to it, and it can hammer it with Surf or cripple it with T-Wave. BoltBeam gives off great coverage, and Lanturn does a sweet job of special sponging for the team.

gliscor.png

Firefly (Gliscor) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 136 HP/12 Atk/146 Def/216 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Roost

My primary physical wall. While Lucario runs Jolly to outrun Impish variants of Gliscor, it can do the same, but Lucario can't keep up. Earthquake and Stone Edge offer sexy coverage, and Roost for healing. The spread may look weird, but this way it cops out with 325 HP/323 Def, which is still healthy for a wall. Stealth Rock is obligatory, and with 308 Speed, it has a great chance to set it up.

jirachi.png

Starlight (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/180 Spd/78 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Psychic
- Substitute

SubRachi is a bitch to take down, and it owns Blissey who thinks she can wall it, by Subbing, Calm Minding and Hidden Power... ing. The reason I opted for HP Fighting over Thunderbolt is because Lanturn already packs T-bolt, and Gallade has Thunderpunch, making it less of a necessity, and it's also not completely helpless if Heatran comes in on it's Sub. I think with SR support, and 1 Calm Mind, HP Fighting becomes a OHKO, though I could be wrong.

gallade.png

Tourniquet (Gallade) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 18 HP/252 Atk/240 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
- Thunderpunch
- Close Combat

Not much to say other than 'revenge killer with elbow swords'. He gets the job done, though. With this combination of moves, nothing in the entirety of the metagame resists all four of them. Close Combat is for STAB, while silencing things like Weavile, T-tar, and Blissey. Ice Punch and ThunderPunch can kill off Dragons and Gyarados, even after a DD, assuming it's Adamant. Night Slash is a clean 2KO on Cresselia and Dusknoir who would otherwise run rampant on him.

togekiss.png

Hysteria (Togekiss) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk/104 Spd/152 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Roost
- Aura Sphere
- Extremespeed
- Flamethrower

Mixkiss, the surprise sweeper of the team. Extremespeed and Hustle allow for some easy KOs on faster and frail sweepers. Aura Sphere deals with Tyranitar well, and Blissey is 2KO'd by Extremespeed with SR support, while Flamethrower deals with Jirachi and Bronzong easily. Roost to heal off residual battle and Life Orb damage.

Comments, weaknesses, anything will help.

Its great that you are using Arcanine as your Scizor "counter", but teams will switch to their Heatran, grab a free Flash Fire boost, and severely injure your team. Being weak to Stealth Rock and sandstorm doesn't help either, but if you truly want to use him then that is your call.

Real men use Lanturn!

Funny how you mention Lanturn resists HP Ice and Fire Blast w/o mentioning Earth Power at all, which is in virtually every Heatran moveset.

I don't worry about Earth Power as much, since most Heatrans are Choice users anyway, and Togekiss and Gliscor can easily come in on them.
