Before the Sinnoh region was known as it is today, it was referred to as Hisui. Filled with harsh environments, two clans embraced the vast wilderness and created settlements for themselves. Each worshiped the so-called "almighty Sinnoh", although they had different ideas about Sinnoh's effect on their lands. They became fierce rivals. When a mysterious person entered the Hisui region and uncovered the secrets of the almighty Sinnoh, it was discovered that both clans were correct in their interpretations. Now, embracing the power of Dialga and Palkia, masters of time and space, the two clan leaders Adaman and Irida maintain a friendly rivalry. Each attempts to prove their superiority to aspiring trainers.
One of Adaman and Irida will be randomly selected to battle, with an equal chance of each. The chosen clan leader determines the arena, adds a special item to the backpack, and determines the chosen Pokemon for Slot 3.
Diamond Clan Settlement (Adaman):
Adaman fights with the power of the mighty Dialga, who controls the flow of time. Adaman's Pokemon get more powerful with more time in battle.
Each of Adaman's Pokemon begins the battle with one Quick marker. They may spend the Quick marker to give one of their actions the optional parameter (Quick), which increases the priority of that action by one.
At the end of the round, Adaman's active Pokemon gains a Temporal marker until they leave play. While a Pokemon with a Temporal marker is attacking, give that attack a power bonus equal to the number of Temporal markers on the user.
Slot 3 automatically becomes Dialga.
Camouflage turns the user into a Ground-type.
Secret Power may inflict regular Poison with two (2) counters on the defender.
Nature Power becomes Mud Shot.
