[Overview]

• Generally known for BoltBeam combo and a massive Special Defense, making it a nearly perfect special wall.
• Because of its amazing bulk, a RestTalk set could be utilized, as well as a supporting set with Thunder Wave to cripple strong special attackers and sweepers, such as Charizard and Gorebyss.
• Pretty good Special Attack that can be taken advantage of.
• However, it has a bad defensive typing in Ice, vulnerable to all entry hazards (specifically Stealth Rock) and doesn't have a reliable source of recovery, making it easy to wear down.
• No resistances besides Ice-type.
• With all the powerful physical attackers such as Primeape, Sawk, and Kangaskhan running amok in the NU tier, Regice finds itself vulnerable to their attacks.
• Despite all of this, Regice can still be an excellent ally to the team if handled correctly.

• Regice's great overall bulk is displayed in this set.
• It doesn't exactly fit the role of a support Pokemon, but with its perfect coverage and recovery option in Rest, it makes for a great offensive tank.
• Rest is Regice's only recovery move; while its unreliable at times, it can help in a pinch.
• RestTalk allows it to check the threats it truly needs to while lasting longer. The problem with RestTalk is that it is much easier to switch into, and must rely on the luck of Sleep Talk to inflict damage.
• The final two moveslots has the famous BoltBeam combination, hitting almost every Pokemon for neutral damage. Ice Beam is also Regice's STAB move. However, if crippling fast threats are preferred over coverage, Thunder Wave can be used over Thunderbolt.

• Leftovers is the ideal item for extended longevity.
• However, Chesto Berry can be used to wake up Regice in a pinch. The problem with Chesto Berry is that it only wakes Reguce from sleep once. Once the Chesto Berry has been eaten and Rest is used a second time, Regice is rendered useless for three turns, allowing setup Pokemon to capture the opportunity to strike.
• 248 HP EVs are so that Regice can come in four times with SR on the field, and 252 SpA EVs maximize Regice's damage output with BoltBeam; Modest enhances its SpA.
• Clear Body - not the most useful ability, but is the only one that Regice can use.
• A more specially defense EV spread could be used to allow Regice to tank special hits better, but with its enormous base 200 SpD, it's hardly needed.
• Not many move options left for Regice in this set; Focus Blast can be used instead of Rest (forgoing Sleep Talk and Chesto Berry as well) to hit Pokemon such as Lickilikcy and Probopass harder; it's not recommended, as that source of recovery is what keeps Regice alive for so long.
• Entry hazards seriously wear Regice down, even with Rest, so Rapid Spin support is appreciated. Wartortle is a great spinner, as it has good defensive synergy with Regice.
• If you'd want Regice to wake up sooner, Heal Bell support is recommended; Lickilicky, Flareon, and Musharna are great options for partners in this department, as they all have great bulk to tank hits alongside Regice; the former two can even offer Wish support when Regice truly needs it and can't get Rest up.
• Since Regice's Defense is usually targeted, a physically defensive Pokemon, specifically Alomomola and Tangela, are great partners. The former can offer Wish, and the latter can offers Leech Seed; Regice appreciates all the recovery it can muster.
• Samurott and Seismitoad has good synergy with Regice; they can take hits for each other and attack each others weaknesses well.
• Sawk and Gurdurr can punch through either set quite well; Midreavus and Garbodor are great partners to handle them, along with other Fighting-types.
• Pokemon that benefit from T-Wave (if used), such as Braviary and CB Sawk, can make great partners; they can attack the crippled opponent much easier without fear of being outsped.

• With Rock Polish and its decent Special Attack, Regice stands as a bulky sweeper who can inflict decent damage and take a hit in the process.
• Its perfect coverage with its three attacking moves allow it to hit every Pokemom in NU for neutral damage at the least.
• Works best as a late-game sweeper, as it doesn't quite have the offensive presence to attack bulky Pokemon mid or early-game.
• Rock Polish is what makes the magic happens; at +2, Regice can outspeed positive-natured base 125 Pokemon or below, which is astounding.
• BoltBeam combo - Ice Beam is Regice's STAB, and Thunderbolt creates that perfect coverage.
• Focus Blast is the final coverage move, as it hits Rock- and Steel-types, such as Probopass, for a larger amount of damage.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

• Maxed out Special Attack to give Regice as much offensive potential as possible; 32 HP EVs gives Regice 309 HP, meaning it'll take 30 damage / turn instead of 31. The Speed EVs also allows it to outrun Swellow after a boost, with a little extra bulk.
• Life Orb and a Modest nature maximizes its power.
• Clear Body - only ability it can use; not the most useful, however.
• Leftovers can be used over LO; the lack of power makes Regice not so effective as a sweeper, however.
• Not many other move selections to choose from that provides additional coverage to Regice.
• Entry hazard support - since Regice is a late-game sweeper, having Pokemon weakened will benefit it, since some Pokemon (Samurott, Sawk) can only be KOed with entry hazard damage. Roselia, while sharing a Fire-type weakness with Regice, can take the physical Fighting-type attacks well that Regice can't stand, and set Spikes. Golurk can check Fighting-types (Sawk) as well and set SR.
• Rapid Spin support is usually wanted for Regice; with residual damage, Regice can be revenge killed much easier, so coming in with high HP is recommended. Wartortle is a good option, as it can take the Fire-type attacks, and has good defensive synergy with Regice.
• Opposing Regice (not Rock Polish set) can create issues for Regice, as it can paralyze Regice, rendering Rock Polish useless. Because of this, Fighting-types, namely Gurdurr (as it doesn't mind T-Wave), can demolish opposing Regice.
• U-turn or Volt Switch support is appreciated, as it gets Regice on the field safely. Pokemon such as Swellow, Braviary, and Eelektross are good options, as the former two can deal with bulky Pokemon Regice can't scar, such as Musharna, while the latter has Coil to raise its Defense, making it a good back-up against physically offensive Pokemon Regice has issues with.
• If Regice gets paralyzed, its chances of sweeping are crippled; Heal Bell support from Pokemon such as Flareon, Lickilicky, and Miltank are appreciated—Wish support from the former is a bonus.

[Other Options]

• Choice Specs can be used to enhance Regice's offensive presence. However, Regice would be switching quite often when locked into an attack, and considering its weakness to all three entry hazards, it isn't the greatest idea.
• Charge Beam - also a good way to raise Regice's Special Attack in hopes to wallbreak. However, Regice is a slow Pokemon, and it would be difficult finding a moveslot for Charge Beam.
• Curse - great way to compensate for Regice's less-than-par Defense, but Regice's Attack isn't something worth enhancing, and its physically offensive move selection is quite disappointing.
• Toxic - great at crippling bulky Pokemon that Regice has difficulties getting past, such as Piloswine and Eelektross.

[Checks and Counters]

• Since Regice doesn't really have a reliable source of recovery, slowing wearing it down with entry hazards are the best move (specifically Stealth Rock). Piloswine, Regirock, and other entry hazard leads (perferably ones with Sturdy; Gigalith and Golem) can get SR and even attack Regice with their SE Rock-type moves.
• Physical attackers; Sawk, Gurdurr, Kangaskhan, and the aforementioned Rock-types are prime examples of Pokemon who can aim for Regice's weaker Defense.
• Because of Thunder Wave, many Pokemon find it difficult to defeat Regice. Bulky Pokemon who can heal off paralysis, such as Lickilicky, Flareon, and Miltank, can take Regice's attacks and relatiate back.
• The best way of defeating Regice is to aim for its Defense with physical attackers and Pokemon that can both take a hit and brush off Thunder Wave; Regice can easily be worn down and weakened at that point.

[Unreleased]

• Ice Body - however, with Snow Warning banned and few Pokemon utilize the move Hail in NU, it wouldn't have been of much use, anyways.

Regice can also play the role of a setup sweeper, with Rock Polish raising its Speed to astonishing heights. Despite its horrible defensive typing and Stealth Rock weakness, Regice can perform well in whatever role it has been assigned.</p>

Sleep Talk provides the second half of the RestTalk strategy, which allows Regice to check threats it needs to while maintaining its longevity. One notable issue with RestTalk is that it is much easier to switch into, and must rely on the luck of Sleep Talk to inflict damage. An EV spread focusing on Special Defense can be used to allow Regice to tank special hits much easier, but with its huge base 200 Special Defense, it's rarely needed. Toxic can be used in this set, as it's great at crippling bulky Pokemon that Regice has difficulties getting past, such as Piloswine and Eelektross. Focus Blast can be used instead of Rest&mdash;forgoing Sleep Talk and Chesto Berry as well&mdash;to hit Pokemon such as Lickilicky and Probopass harder; however, it's not recommended, as Rest's recovery allows Regice to last longer in the match.</p>

The best way of defeating Regice is to target its Defense using physical attackers and Pokemon that can both take a hit and brush off Thunder Wave; Regice can easily be weakened at that point.</p>

<p>Ice Body would be a great ability to use in hail, as it would provide consistent healing. However, with no Pokemon with Snow Warning in the tier and an extremely small number that can utilize the move Hail effectively, it won't be of much use to Regice in NU.</p>

Also Rose cant take physical fighting attacks at all, its very frail on the physical side. This is a good skeleton though, i have no problems stamping it when you cover what me and tennis said

The first sentence in the overview is fluff. You should also mention there that it relies on RestTalk for recovery, which can hinder its defensive capabilities. Psych Up and Frost Breath can go in OO to beat Calm Mind sweepers, and Icy Wind can go there too for being similar to TWave while still inflicting damage. Specially Defensive Camerupt can go in CC since it can take anything Regice throws at it, set up Rocks, and Roar it away. Throh can be placed there too since it can take hits, Circle Throw, and has Guts. Toxic also should get a mention in the AC of the tank set.

Physical attackers, such as Sawk, Gurdurr, Kangaskhan, and the aforementioned Rock-types, (AC) are prime examples of Pokemon who can aim for Regice's weaker Defense. Because of Thunder Wave, many Pokemon find it difficult to defeat Regice.

You can just combine that because Thunder Wave really only cripples these offensive threats. They can still win 1-on-1, but overall are weakened.

Regice is rendered useless for three turns, allowing setup Pokemon to capture the opportunity to strike.

Back to this again. Since you mention this before you mention other options over Sleep Talk, I suggest saying something along the lines of "Regice is forced to rely on Sleep Talk in order to avoid becoming setup fodder" instead since it also condenses both of these sentences.

However, with no Pokemon with Snow Warning banned from in the tier and the only a small number of Pokemon that can utilize the move Hail effectively (honestly I'd consider just removing this part about manual hail because I've never seen it used effectively), it won't be of much use to Regice in NU.</p>

Unless I missed a suspect test, I'm pretty sure there's no hail in NU because Snover went RU.
